I was wondering why there aren't more of these (I do know they exist as I've been with a few), personally although I generally identify as a lesbian I find feminine appearing dominant men to be incredibly sexy, ala Jareth in the Labyrinth. I mean we all know that femininity doesn't automatically equal submission and masculinity doesn't automatically equal dominance or vice versa, and I do see some butch-er dommes out there... it makes me curious.

To me, feminine men have always seemed kinda dominant (maybe too many childhood viewings of the labyrinth hehe) because in my mind it takes a helluvalot of balls for a man to be feminine or pretty, and as well there's a sort of rebel quality about a certain style of femininity, not to mention I've always thought of a lot of more sexualized items of clothing as sort of... powerful, high heels, and corsets, their power to draw desire makes others obey. Similarly it's interesting how characters like this often appear in movies, from the comedic camp of Tim Curry's Frankenfurter, to David Bowie's exquisitely cruel goblin king.

Something in that androgyny as well escapes the typical arrangement of male as pursuer and women as pursued, femininity seems to grant the power to make them come to you. To me there is something otherworldly in such men, they recall Shakespeare's Oberon, and are masters of masculine strength and feminine manipulation.

Femme-doms are so often called goddess, because we think of femininity as otherworldly, as mysterious, and isn't that almost supernatural quality one that can be associated with dominance, with power, we almost never call male doms god, and yet looking into the eyes of a past lover one night drunk on vodka and cranberry juice from mason jars, my back pressed up against my front window as we had passionate sex, I swear I saw Diyonisis in his eyes.

hehe, my girlfriend and I love the song "For your entertainment". I've always had a bit of a thing for Michael Monroe from Hanoi Rocks, also the guitarist of the Japanese band Versailles, he's pretty and he can shred like a demon

Blurring gender lines tends to piss people off and even repulse them. This site (or should I say online community) is highly conservative and stodgy in this department.

And some of us aren't capped... and still do.

Erm...I'll take David Bowie as Jareth or as himself any day, please.
I've also always found androgyny to be incredibly sexy...whether it's feminine featured men or slightly masculine women...I love the blurred lines.

Me? I like (really like) butch women. I have always been attracted to masculine-looking women. Short hair, cut in a male style, and wearing a tie or something similarly subtle...My oh my.

I love goth looking guys there is often a sense of prettiness (in a dark way there). Dani Filth is one of my favourites... although perhaps he is more evil than pretty. But you're right, you dont seem to come across the feminine Master types often.

Here in the Bay Area, I've seen a lot of androgynous Dominants, both feminine men and butch women. For that matter, there are some men who enjoy cross-dressing to dominate or top someone, and feel very powerful when they are expressing their femininity that way.

Perhaps an ultra feminine male is the only type of male that would appeal to a lesbian? Simply because he wouldn't be identified by her as masculine. But most heterosexual females aren't looking for their twins but for those who complement them. Straight women prefer masculine men.

Besides it's the basic girl rule, don't date any guy who is prettier than you.

I think there's a hug distinction to be drawn between "feminine" and "androgynous" - To me, Jareth in the Labyrinth isn't feminine, he's androgynous.

I think there are some androgynous doms/masters out there. There are also some cross-dressing doms out there too - I think there are relatively few of them in kinkland because there are relatively few of them in the general population perhaps?

Probably because the vast majority of men would look like an oranguntang in a tutu-and are just not into that sort of self humiliation.
