Status: offline 		Today- you are set to go about your planned day. When a startling call comes in.  You now must change around most of your day.  Multi choices are allowed.

The idea is to see if you are flexible or stoic.

The change is 90%+  must.

the first thing i would do is to sit down and write a to-do list of all i was going to do before the phone call and before things get hectic, then prioritize what i wrote.

The list will permit me to handle the crisis as well as the days tasks that are of the highest priority.

Status: offline 		I'd start to use a list, but I'd lose it. Along with my car keys, sunglasses, reading glasses, beverage, book, cigarettes, lighter, just to name a few. There is nothing I can't lose. So I'm a go with the flow, let it all roll off, or I'd be even nuttier than I am. Of course being the most special of all nuts, the honey roasted pecan makes for a very interesting life.

One I have been blessed with since I was old enough to wear platform shoes and fall off them, down the stairs and always take a few people with you. That's the secret, take others down with you. If I can trip over my own feet, I do so very well. Course can't forget the blackouts either. My most special talent. Found my laptop on the floor and upside down yesterday. Then wondered why it was no longer on my lap. I'm kinda clueless that way. LMAO

I make lists, I just tend to forget where I've left them. Hence the many little notebooks I find in the oddest places with lists I forgot I made in the first place.

I would say that I am flexible and stoic.  Things happen in life, you just need to go with it. 

Receiving a startling call that requires me to change my entire plans for the day, that could only be from someone that I care about.  One of the things that you do for people that you care about is to be available when they need something.  It is just a part of that whole, "friendship contract" thingie.

I don´t usually plan my days but somehow manage to get done what needs to be done.  I have a lifestyle that doesn´t have a lot of structure and except for the 6 months a year when I work in the tourist industry... my time is pretty much mine to do as I please... a half hour coffee can turn into 4 hours of sitting in the sun talking to friends.  I like that I have no idea what each day will bring.

To stay on topic:  I "go with the flow" to a fault.  It's that damn ADHD.  For example, while shopping, I'll see an ingredient that reminds me "I've wanted to make my recipe for Dolmades and here's a special on ground lamb."  WOW! Guess what........ everything is put to the side.  So, I guess I'm not at the 90% level.  More like less than 10%.  Disaster after disaster.

That is MY principal reason for wanting a 24/7 slave - to keep his Master (me - DUH) on focus by maintaining the "social" calendar.  "Sir, I'll put the lamb in the freezer and, with your approval, Sir, will schedule that as the 'finger-food' for the next meeting of the Colorado LeatherMen."

"Good idea, boy.  Now, where were we?"
