They manage by driving across the border and using our doctors whenever their system fails them.  I live twenty minutes from the border and it is not at all unusual to see Ontario licence plates in parking lots of doctor's offices here.

Of course Americans with insufficient health insurance never go to private doctors and pay cash for what their health care will not. 
Americans never go to Canada to buy drugs.

Oddly enough, its not illegal. Immoral yes, but a private business in an at-will state may fire for any reason not covered by federal discrimination laws. That does not mean if the company takes federal contracts, they may do so. That is another kettle of fish.

What would you have me do?  Piss the customer off (you must really love that dumbass doctor)?  Pissed off customers tend not to come back.  Piss off enough customers and you are soon out of business.  That means that several people (myself included) would be out of a job.  If they can't find new work right away they may have to go on unemployment - adding to an already overburndened system.  Also that would mean that the local food pantry and clothes closet would lose out on the donations we regularly make to them (at a time when demand is at a high). 

Another man whose morality points directly to his own ego at the expense of others. 
I don't think the world can afford your kind of morality.

Well there is the "equal protection" clause of the 14th ammendment.
The NLRB has some pretty specific guidelines concerning wrongful termination.

It's so easy to spot the ones who have never run a business (at least, successfully).  The concept of "the customer is always right" flies over their head and they do stupid things like fire employees based upon their political affiliations rather than whther or not they can actually do the job.

We all can talk about our political preferences. Attend rallies, voice opinions, hand out flyers, ect. BUT, in the end, when that curtain is drawn, and we are left alone to cast our vote... no one else knows but ourselves what choices we make and why.

I, for one, am hoping this initiates a movement to protect political views as protected under the law. The actions of this Dr, while not illegal, are immoral, in my opinion, and as expressed by other Physicians and medical personel.

As someone else pointed out, this Dr took loans and grants to go through school. Tax money... our money... and here he is, deciding who deserves his services.
