How would you proceed if you decided to pursue a relationship? What would be the determining factor on if and when to stop using protection? I don't think you ever stop using protection if you or your partner has an STD. Some STDs are life threatening, others can make you sick or uncomfortable during outbreaks, so you don't want to catch it. Also if something were to happen to your relationship (divorce, death, breakup, cheating) you wouldn't want an STD that can be passed to a new partner.IMHO Let me add, i don't want to pass my HPV to Hubby even though He will probably never be with another woman because if something were to happen to me i would hate for Him to have caught it and pass it on.
