Awsome. I was waiting for someone to mention Depeche. How about Sex Dwarf by Soft Cell? That is right up there with Master and Servant in my opinion. I recommend it if your into new wave or synthpop at all. :)

There are those who think it has only just happened.
In the sixties there was The Velvet Underground - "Venus in Furs".
Seventies saw the classics Blue Oyster Cult - "Dominance and Submission" "Golden Age Of Leather".
At least these have musical merit.
Sm'y but not quite SM from the 80s The Enid - Salome -- from what I remember of lyrics one is "Princess of Pain". written by greatest composer of the 20th century Robert John Godfrey - BBC present called him that.

Another vote for Hurricane by 30 Seconds to Mars. That video makes me quiver like nothing else can. Gave me all sorts of ideas to beg Master for ,and so artistically done, too.

I had actually never saw that video before but once again 30 Seconds to Mars did not disappoint me. For some reason their old song The Fantasy has always reminded me of dominating my sub when I'm feeling really sadistic.

dont forget GENITORTURES. love that band. nice combination of live domination and rock. Remember the controversy over Bruce Willis and new gf photo of the bondage nature for W magazine? i loved it though. Bdsm in media is more or less a fashion statement than anything else. well imo.

Thats funny you mention the Genitortures.I met them when I use to live in Tampa,Florida.They use to practice around the corner from where I use to live.This was back in the 90's.I never would have thought they would become such a popular band.

Not sure if it was already mentioned but 30 Seconds to Mars has a video for the song Hurricane that is so hot I can hardly cope haha. Just make sure you watch the uncensored version.

Great track... there was never any single release for it AFAIK so wouldn't have a vid. even if it did it wouldn't be great judging by the other videos for singles on the Black Rose album (1979). Also some good BDSM themed vids on this oldish thread: http://www.collarchat.com/m_3429302/tm.htm - a favourite of mine is Whip It" by Devo which is remarkably good considering how bad videos generally were around 1980/1. Another song (no vid AFAIK) is by Slayer called "Sex Murder Art". You know what I find annoying hese days when online discussion comes about for music, favourites and specific themes?

The fact that it seems so much has to be about the blasted video... and the MUSIC is almost secondary.

I like listening to music.

LISTENING to music.
I rarely look for the visual accompanyment... as I find it tries to steer my thinking of the moo/moment away with another persons interpretation.

And I rarely like music videos anyway.

Too much cliche.

While I agree that music is the point and the video is the fluff that goes with it.  I do like fluff sometimes [sm=smile.gif]
