My estimate is that more than 75% of "online only" relationships between couples or F-F are really male-male. The real question is whether or not the man cares that it's really another guy he's chatting with, not a woman, and if he cares. Or is it fine with him as long as he pretends? Akasha

Why do you think the percent is that high? I imagine most would care; it's one thing to be lonely, but to find out the person you're investing time and energy and hope into, is a fraud, and to not care, I can't see many letting that slide.

One thing that often screams "dude!" to me is when I see a female profile, with pics of a highly attractive woman, seeking only females, and online. Makes me wonder if the "woman" writing back is named Steve, as well... so, AAkasha, you may have a point [X(]

We finally went from online to offline. It was difficult but Jeffff and I are living proof that a M M relationship that starts online can grow to something beautiful. It was kind of a drag when we realized that we were not female. Once we got over the initial shock of not being women it was kind of cool how we had phone sex while sitting next to each other at the bar. "Jeffff, what are you wearing?" I asked. Jeffff pulled the phone down from his ear and said, "Dude, I'm sitting right here. What the fuck is wrong with you?" Then Jeffff put the phone back to his mouth and whispered to me, "Are you hard?" The bartender then asked Jeffff what he was drinking and Jefff got back on the pone, being the gentleman that he is, asked me what I wanted and ordered me a Hop Slam. We then jerked off under the bar together. We were asked to leave and never return. It was fun. It worked for us. That's all I'm sayin'.

Smut, I have an answer to that, but it would absolutely not be a very nice one. I'm seriously holding My tongue about intelligence levels when it comes to some who grace our fine boards. We had a couple of weeks there where the boards were discussing some very interesting and stimulating topics. In the last few days, the content has gone back to the basement again and it amazes Me that adults have to ask about such simplistic matters. To the original, I have to say I'm in the same boat as LadyA. I'd laugh My ass off. It would serve both of them right for lying to each other. My actual estimation on how often it really happens? I'm going with 10-15%.

Many and many a year ago, when I was a callow young asshole, I used to troll Yahoo chatrooms very effectively as a Mistress. I'd just get a good looking gothy friend of mine to let me use several of her pics for my account, and never go on webcam or voice. I had a rule that I'd never take things far enough to enter into a "relationship" with anybody (no double secret computer chat room collarings or whatever, and the moment it became clear they were getting emotionally attached I had the decency to just put them on ignore) but I definitely had some extremely entertaining private conversations and got people to say/do/say they were doing some horrifying things in the public room. If anyone seemed "serious" about the lifestyle, or genuinely nice, I'd find a way to warn them off or ignore them, but I fucked with wankers mercilessly for 30 or 40 minutes a night (usually drunk and still wound up after a party and trying to calm down before crashing in time for an 8 AM class). I wouldn't do this anymore, but back then I was always struck by just how easy it was to pretend to be someone else, especially when there were a whole bunch of people desperately wanting to believe in an idea like "the ultimate smart, hot, deeply sadistic Mistress."

When I said "our" I literally meant "our". There was no "y" drop off or anything anywhere that said Mine more than anyone else. Truthfully, I don't consider Myself any more than average intelligence. Yet, I manage to know how to figure out that there are some folks who put up fake profiles, I know to communicate with others, and I have a fair amount of life experience that allows Me to put some common sense into wiitwd. I honestly don't think such things are so difficult.

Lol! I am even more twisted than that, I did the exact opposite. Going to chatrooms with perv names, waiting to be contacted by "girls" looking for perv guys. Chatting with them and see how far they would bring the sex talk. Then I suddenly "come out" telling them I am actually a gay man. And so they suddenly tell me they are men as well. And then I tell them I don't believe them, cause they are obviously liars, and I know that they are actually girls pretending to be gay men just to satisfy their kinks. And then they struggle a lot trying to prove me how they REALLY are men, and how much of a liar they were BEFORE, but how they are totally telling me the truth now. Bwahahaha, it's super fun. ;D
