ORIGINAL: Laura Are there sites about this fetish? Robot fetish in brief (exerpted from "Deviant Desires" by Katherine Gates) What they call themselves: Technophiles Internet search keywords: Robot, mannequin, technophile What it is: Fantasies about owning or being transformed into a robot, mannequin, or doll. What it is not: Technophiles aren't interested in "real" sex dolls, androids, or mannequins so much as the performance of being robot-like. What they do: Whatch grade-B movies, create costumes, perform as mimes, pretend to be an object. Related fetishes: Immobilization (esp. mannequins), female mask fetish, fursuiting I am going to just say one thing here about that last line... I know a couple on both sides of the fence, and the fursuiting ones would be rather put off that you put them in the same paragraph with the technophiles and I dare say the same in reverse but since I do neither, I don't care that you did.. but I WILL be laughing my ass off when I speak to them. On to the techno's. I've a friend that uses "programming" mp3's to get the person being "robotized" into the right frame of mind. But if you are actually going to pretend she is a human in a robot suite pretending to be a robot, its not the same thing. At that point, you could probably use some kind of body paint that has a metallic or glitter tint. If you need "boxy" you could use cardboard boxes in a pinch, there are some very sturdy ones on the market used for shipping. Good luck and have fun! Lady Jag
