So here's an icebreaker: With limited money and materials, limited craft skills, and limited space available, how would you go about forcibly turning your sub into a robot? A robot? Yes, a robot. It's like objectification, but with a remote control. You can interact with your toy when you feel like it, or hit the "mute" button or even just deactivate them when you'd like some peace and quiet. Since they're just another appliance, you can have them do any of the things robots do in TV or the movies (I'd suggest a limit of one killing spree per scene, however, and then only if you both switch) like vacuum the floor, wash the dishes, or serve you drinks. You can, of course, do other things, since YOUR robot has a special sexy secret that isn't included in the other models...

thought about this one before....i would say check out a cosplay message board..although 99% of the boards are vanilla...they have good info on it that might help you with the transformation

Yeah, I've been checking for info among cosplay and assorted varieties of technofetishist groups, but since the original idea was as much B/D as cosplay, I thought it might spark some discussion over here, too. You gotta love a scene that incorporates RP, mind control, cosplay, bondage, dominance, forced objectification, technofetishism, and good old S&M all in one kink!

if you're really going to do this...(and forgive me, I'm an old fart who can't spell technofetishism) it's going to have to be based on behaviour mod and you'll probably hafta get into the sub's head well enough deep enough you can hit those chords. as far as hardware, make a rack of colored penlights, with each color representing a different command, you can add a buzzer so the sub knows to look up, so 'red means mute'. I don't envy the hill you've set for yourself, for something really alien to take with behavior mod. you gotta start with someone who is already pretty broken and has none of the self-respect that even comes with a true-service minded sub. I suspect though getting the sub to do a fantasy from time to time with it, that might be a lot easier, I know it's probably not the full blown scene you're looking for, but ya gotta start somewhere.

If I were to do something like this, I would outfit the slave with a series of electric probes tied to an IR receiver. Each probe is located differently in the body and represents a different command. If you want to make it permanent, you can subcutaneously implant the probes (sanitation / medical issues here!!!! only do it if you know what you're doing!!!!) Then use hypnosis/brain washing techniques to ensure that the slave will always feel, understand, and obey the commands. An intensity switch for the probes (light tickle -> debilitating pain) can help for reinforcement when necessary. You might want to make one of the probes "voice command" for flexibility... Oh and make sure the deactivate command has some fail safes for the slave to feed herself and do maintenance activities in case you leave it in that mode. Though, every indication is that a person in a hypnotic state will not stay there until death but will naturally awaken if their mind feels it is necessary (and I've seen it happen personally that way too)

no offense merlinjim, but the orignal poster talked up front about limited resources...so I suspect he doesn't have the $ for the hardwiring your talking about, and most of lack the skill to put something in under the skin that won't land someone in the hospital. the rest of what you said...it might work in the real world, but I don't really see it working after the novelty value of the gig wore off for the sub

just start with tin foil and liquid laytex and a very simple childrens tone generator. Every time a certain tone is played or sound is pressed they are to do a certain things. If you know your way around a piano or keyboard, playing notes also works...though you may need to work a bit on their ear training. <i>by pressing down a special key it plays a little melody</i>

This is something I've wanted to do too. But, I think you can skip a lot or all of the hardware and just have your sub respond to voice commands. Add costumes and accessories if you need them for atmosphere. If you want to make a cheap robot suit get bristol board and wrap it around arms and legs like tubes. Then create a mask with the rest. Decorate as desired. The bristol board will make the elbow and knee joints somewhat immobile. You can use the board to wrap around the body trunk also. Add mittens to the hands too. Are there sites about this fetish?

It'd definitely be on the wrong side of $200 for these modifications. And subdermal is bad unless you can both sterilize everything properly and use an appropriate barrier material for the interface. I'm not even going to make suggestions here; you either know how to do it or you don't, and if you don't you really really shouldn't consider it. Festering lesions are the BEST CASE scenario for doing this wrong... On the flip side, an adhesive can work for a mid-length play session (3-4 days or so) But hey I don't do anything if I can't do it completely :D It's just kinda what I do. And I don't know how long this approach would be efficacious. The novelty will wear off; unless she has a technofetish she's not gonna be down with it forever. Not possessing this fetish myself, I don't know how much compromise is acceptable in a play scene... BTW, Iku is a GREAT porn featuring robots if you're interested. It's loosely based on Bubble Gum Crisis (but filmed with RL actors) if you've ever seen that...

First of all, paint her whole body with silver paint, just like in The Wizard Of Oz. Make sure to get every nook and cranny. Paint a pair of work boots silver too, and make her wear them. Drill two small holes on each side of her head. Place a large funnel upside down on her head and screw it in place with the two drilled holes. Make sure the funnel is painted silver too. You might have to try it with a few sub/slaves until you get it right.

Actually, a friend of mine reminded me of a "performance art" scene he had come up with but never quite got around to using, along a similar vein that he called "Sadobot 3000". It involved setting the sub in a dentist's chair or similar clinical setting, with a bright spotlight directly overhead. The dom and several assistance, wearing black body suits (in a black room, naturally) would use various tools and toys set up on simple armatures, most of them rogged to a large stage piece "robot" which was supposed to be the actual top. The idea was to reinforce the idea of isolation by confronting the sub with a completely unempathic dominant. I think he had been thinking of setting it up as a video shoot, but to the best of my knowledge, he never got around to doing it. ~S

This is just too much fun not to contribute.... <disclaimer>Having absolutely no idea what I'm talking about</disclaimer> I'd say perhaps a cooling body wrap of guaze or some absorbent breathable fabric covered in nice silver shiny duct tape. You can make it as restrictive as desired by changing the tightness of the wrap, you get that metal look, and every techie nerd has an innate love of duct tape wired into their DNA. No idea why I might think of this, as I spent all day Saturday helping my wife make a duct-tape covered practice dummy for her women's self defense class...... I'm not sure if you're looking to get the behavior of a robot, or the look and feel of a robot. I've played with two easy to get and use remote control toys. One is an Innotek remote Dog training color. They have several cheap ones (if the $120 range is cheap to you). These have warning tones as well as several levels of correction. They can be work on humans on the neck, however I've found it very effective to use them on the upper thigh right up against the genitals. The second toy is a Voice activated walkie talkie. This is the type of toy that kids get, but a little higher end. (actually, I first bought this for talking with a friend when we were both riding bicycles but weren't within easy talking/distance). It has a combination earpiece/microphone and on it's voice activated circuit you can use it without hands. I did this at a play party at the Castlebar (in San Francisco several years back) and it was a lot of fun. If you wire your sub up with the shock collar, gag her safely but effectively, and put the earpiece on her with her voice activation turned off, then you have a way to control and give orders to your "robot". But again, I'm not sure that's what you are looking for. If you're look for a mechanical way to "control" her, as in actual physical control when she may want to resist but has no choice... good luck! I'd like to see what you come up with! Well, there's a bunch of "fantasy" scenarios we've been working on, mostly RP of course, that could get turned into actual scenes. Basically, depending on who is doing what to whom, appearance is important and being able to control or to reinforce commands is equally important. A lot of it is filled in by our imaginations (very cheap and very reliable, but then we're both hard core gamers. Roleplaying isn't just a hobby for us, it's a way of life). The central theme I've been working on is the "Silver Metal Lover Revisited" scenario. The roleplaying element comes in the form of backstory - imagine a technological society where robotic servants are considered ordinary. The scene comes from the Top sneaking his human lover into his home and dressing her as a robot in order to hide his indescretions. This requires the human to act like a robot and to perform the basic duties of a robot or else suffer the (unspecified but dire) consequences of being discovered. Various sorts of fun and games ensue based on the casual disregard humans have for robots in this setting, and the fact that this particular robot is apparantly very clumsy and not very well programmed. I'm still working on the details of the scene, but since the wife is away at the moment, I'd like to have something set up for when she gets back - a little welcome home surprise, if you will. She has her own robot fantasies, but I say let her figure out how to do that herself. She is quite inventive, after all...
