You wrote earlier that you killed this thread... a little premature to go boasting, was it? Something that the non-Tea Party doesn't understand is that where the budget cuts are made is beside the point because the bottom line is that we cannot keep spending like this. We don't have the money! Yeah, there are more checks but eventually this kite is going to have to come down. China is warning us, the secretary of state is warning us, as Thadius pointed out the president has even warned us - but there are no cuts planned, only more outrageous spending.

Im waiting for the phelps clan to blame pictures of their signs on the libs (atheist/christian haters). Apart from the restaurant sign which is actually a sign from a really sweet chap not wanting to serve spanish speaking citizens if I remember correctly, so no not a teaparty sign. But a sign... for sure Truck/Sanity As soon as you furnish proof that there is a lefty conspiracy at work, I will give you the benefit of the doubt, until then I treat your "blame the libs" routine with the contempt it deserves. Correct. In WW II we were building roads and factories and making things and selling things, we were mining and working and producing. All we're doing now is borrowing money from China and buying (as popeye would say "cheap plastic junk" from them with it. Where are all the new nuclear power plants? Where are the refineries? Where are all the permanent jobs in the private sector? With all the trillions that are being wasted we're only getting more bureaucracies that will continue to waste ever increasing sums of money for generations to come. To expand on your post Sanity- It's not just that the OP started with, or contained, an insult; it's that the entire thread was an insult. There was no point to any of it except to try to demean, with doctored "evidence", an entire American movement. BTW, have you seen the Gallup profile of the "racist" Tea Party movement? 40% Dem/Indy, 75% white (vs. 79% for America as a whole), broad/normal age, income, education parameters. A nice wide cross-section of America, which the Dems are desperate to disparage. It's just what they do, especially when they're afraid.
