You know, I didn't realize how many titty jokes there really were until I got a pair of my own. I love my new titties and am saddened at the thought of having to return to my old boring, nerdy self. Blondes with big titties really do have more fun.

Thomas, I am no longer going to waste my time on these forums chasing your tail of circular logic....

...I'm tired of chasing a moving target with you. This happens in every thread. I'm embarrassed that I've allowed myself to participate in your tit-for-tat in the past. No more.

Two posts ago you declared that we don't have anything more to talk about. If you say you're going to do something, then do it. Why advertise it if you're going to forget that you even wrote it the next time that you turn around.

quote:

First you said that "you will take Greenspans word over mine any day" that the subprime mortgages were the cause of the collapse of the financial sector and world's economy. So I refuted that assertion using Greenspans own words.

The Greenspan quote you posted was,

"He said the selling of the soaring number of subprime mortgages in securities to investors was the trigger for the financial crisis."

http://www.collarchat.com/fb.asp?m=3154286

I've asked you three times since then where you thought the subprime securities he was discussing originated, and all you've managed are these silly little dodges and your half hour music video that didn't even touch the question. Why this crazy little dance of yours. Why not answer the simple question? It should be easy for you if you really are a braniac.

quote:

You ignored my response and now you are saying that the issue is in fact the origin of the loans themselves. I have already shown you that the loans were not the cause of the collapse, so when did their origins become the issue and why?

You haven't shown that the loans were not the cause of the collapse, your Greenspan quote showed that they were. I haven't ignored the response, I've asked you pointedly - where did the securities that Greenspan was discussing in the quote you've posted originate? Thats important, because the Republicans tried to crack down on them at their source and the Democrats resisted. But instead of replying honestly you've shown that the best you can muster in a political debate is a little cut and paste, a link to an irrelevant video or these weak off topic insults.

Maybe so, but admit it  - you felt your IQ plummet as soon as you started using this avatar, didn't you?

The loans. in and of themselves were not the problem. The selling of the loans as "investment vehicles" was.

That created a demand for such loans. That created an increase in the number of sub prime loans. That created an often greatly inflated equity

I don't know if it was so much the IQ plummeting as it was that I just didn't care as much. I could say any silly thing and hide behind the boobs. It was liberating. I know why the dumb blonde sings...

If the loans weren't a problem there would never have been a crisis, would there?

Unfortunately for the trolls, the facts speak for themselves:

quote:

On Friday, two former Fannie Mae executives testified that the legislatively mandated mixed mission of the former government-sponsored enterprises -- increase affordable housing and make a profit for shareholders -- drove it so deeply into subprime and other risky mortgages that there was no way out when the real estate bubble burst.

Too bad the Republicans didn't succeed in clamping down on those loans.....None of this would have happened.

The Republicans are only here to make all of our lives better.

There ya go, Tommy. Now run along.

Dude, in every thread, in almost every post, you do the same thing.

Whats the point?

There are a number of folks here who I disagree with, but the post concisely and thoughtfully.

You are not among them.

You are a silly man

Thomas,

I'm pretty reasonable. I enjoy a good debate. I make good arguments, have my facts in order, and present myself well. I don't ask for perfection in return, but I have a few simple requirements if someone wishes to engage me in thoughtful discussions:

One must be able to read on at least a high school level, and preferably possess minimal comprehension skills. Thinking critical about what one reads would be the trifecta of intellectual discourse and I would add that person to my friend list.

It would be nice if one came to the discussion with some original ideas. It's not a requirement as I can supply them if necessary, but I would lose interest quickly talking to myself.

One must be able to at least do some basic math. I occasionally use numbers in my posts to make a point or keep score. This is a hard limit for me.

If one possesses none of the above, then they must have a cock pic in their avatar.

Is all this really too much to ask?

As an aside.......

I want to slap your new tits around!

Do guys really find that attractive? It looks like a picture of a butt.

Not to me. I'm not into freaks of nature. Nor do I need to nurse again. I did it sufficiently during my first two years of life.
