Guess it'd be rather rude if I didn't make my introductions...

I'm a 27 year old northern Norwegian male that has the rather unfortunate luck to have been born and raised in tiny little places with no fetish community whatsoever. Wherever I've lived, studied or gotten work, I've never been able to find a community which would 'cater' to someone with less than standard desires and fantasies. This of course, have driven me onto the internet, searching and seeking a community wherein I can learn and study, chat and have some fun with people who understand how a newbie might feel. Especially one who haven't managed to find anyone in real life that can teach and explore...

As for my personal tastes... well, that's rather hard to pin down since I have practically no real life experience with these things. All I know is that I enjoy the fantasies of... well, almost everything here. Dom/sub, bondage, S/M, every side of the crop, and for that matter both sides of the gender barrier. Well, if it's a couple thing, that is... It is hard to say what I'm seeking, when I haven't tried it yet... So I suppose what I seek is the opportunity to learn about and try everything. Well, preferably on the receiving end of the crop to begin with, and learning from that. I believe myself to be leaning to the Switch persuasion, but until I've had everything tried on me, and learned from that... it's impossible to know. I could definitely be interested in 'online tutoring' as well, creating and maintaining an online relationship from which I can learn and hopefully provide equal amounts of pleasure the other way.

Now, before this gets overly lengthy, I'll just end this introduction with a 'pleased t'meetcha all' and I hope I find a community here in which I can thrive, and hopefully contribute to after a while.

I just realized there was one more thing I forgot to mention. I've seen quite a few Norwegians in the profiles here, which was heartening. And I was wondering, would any of these Norwegians know of good Norwegian/Scandinavian communities, online and offline? Simply doing websearches have given me very little to go on, and it'd almost appear that Northern Norway is the most lonely place in the world for someone like us. I may quite simply be utterly wrong here, but that is what working with Google has imprinted on me.

Can't help you with your local problem, none the less welcome to CM. The trouble with small communities, even if there was a fetish group, you probably would'nt want to mix with the people you see every day.

Ah, I've given up all hope of finding something local. But I'd settle for regional, or at least in this half of my country. Some munch (amidoin'itrite?) I could communicate with and gain experience from. Thank you for the welcome, and have a nice day.

I just have to comment that it's amazing when someone posts here who obviously speaks English as a second language and puts us native speakers to shame.

I'd welcome you in my fluent Norwegian except I don't have any.

Welcome to the site.  If you post on the boards, you may have a greater chance of finding someone to relate to.  In my opinion, anyway.  I really hope that you can find what you are looking for.

Hvordan Har Du Det?

you can try to see if this site knows your area or where the action is, they are for the Romslo in the Trondelag. Seems like everything is either Oslo or Bergen Romslo and so on.

and this one may be a start:

http://www.sologmaane.org/
there is a link there, Hva er BDSM........but my norsk fails me after that.

You are way up there arent you? And way out there on the island, but you should be somewhere around Aswad (a profile on this site) and when I say somewhere, within a day, maybe he can help you out as well, or his girl nephandi.

You may have to beat yourself.

Welcome, and Bare Bra!!!!!!

Thank you everyone. Ron Melby in particular. The welcomes are heartening in and of themselves, but the prospect of finding Norwegians that'd be on the same page as myself is exciting indeed. As for my grasp on the English language, it's rather hard not to attain a basic understanding of it these days. All pop-culture, movies, music and so on pretty much defaults to English, no matter what the country of origin happens to be. When one happens to be drowning in a language, it'll sooner or later affect you.

Ron Melby, thank you again, I will be poring over those links and send tentative feelers around the place.

Welcome to the forum, Newbie!  Ron would no doubt come to Norway and beat you himself if you could be so kind as to give him a lefse recipe that is easy to make, or give any advice or tips on how to make it successfully! :)

*laughs in delight*  Lefse is unfortunately not my specialty, but I'm sure I can armwrestle my grandmother for the recipy. She makes some marvelous thick lefse. If I am successful, I may return with it. Lefse should be available to every man, woman and child of every race, creed and faith. It is that delicious.

Welcome! Your country is beautiful. I traveled by train between Oslo and Bergen once. Your countrymen were very friendly to me.

Wow!!  I just looked up to see where you are.  Are you sure that you're still in Norway??  My Grandmother was from Tromso & I thought that was pretty far up there!!  I hope you're able to find what you're looking for.

Thank you. I hope so too. And yes takemeforyourown, that is one of the things we pride ourselves on as a nation. Hospitality. Of course, it's hardly universal, but we try. Glad to hear you enjoyed it.

Recipy for 'thick lefse':

1 dl melted butter
1 dl sugar
1 dl light syrup
1 1/2 dl sourcream/sourmilk.... I'm not sure how to translate it. Between sourcream and sourmilk.
1 1/2 dl whole milk
2 eggs
3 tablespoons of ammonium carbonate, salt of hartshorn (had to run that through a translator, and yes it's the correct measurement.)
Wheat flour to a decent amount of dough.

Mix the ingredients to a dough slightly looser than a bun dough. Put it in the fridge overnight.
Divide it into decent sized bits, roll them into round... well, pizzabottoms almost,  1/2cm thick. Use plenty of flour to avoid sticky dough.

Put it in the oven on paper, 200 degrees Celsius for 3-5 minutes, until the 'pizzabottoms' have a nice golden colour.
Let them cool before you put on a mix of butter, sugar and cinnamon (mix and match to taste). Cut it in half, and put the two halves together, filling in the middle. Cut it up like a pizza, and serve.

Sorry for the European style measurements, but that's what my grandmother went by. Very easy to make, I'm told, and having seen her do it, I agree. Just make sure you get enough butter, sugar and cinnamon for the filling. When making the filling, mix it very well until it has a soft texture, and make sure it looks 'grey'. I recommend a decent amount of filling to avoid them feeling dry, and have something tasty to drink on the side. I love coffee to these lefse.

And having had some time to think about my more personal quest for exploration and learning, I have decided that hoping for a realtime relationship/tutoring would be folly at this point. I can't leave this tiny little place for quite a few months, and that means I would like to first and foremost seek an online relationship. Not necessarily with hopes of realtime meetings later, but one I would dedicate as much effort, honesty and dedication to as any other relationship. Until the day comes when I decide to relocate, I think that is as much as I could hope for. Of course, I am still interested in finding Norwegian/Scandinavian groups dedicated to this lifestyle, but that would be something I'd be after anyway. And in fact, thanks to CM, I've already located some online.

*does the infomercial thing with the glassy grin*

Thank you CollarMe!

Thanks so much for posting that recipe, Newbie!  I love that it's "authentic".....I keep all my recipes in a book as I obtain them, if that makes sense....like if a friend writes down a recipe for me, I simply stuff it in the book so that I  will always have her handwriting on the paper she wrote it on, or as I tore it out of the magazine, etc.  That makes for good memories.)  So, this one I will print from here and title it "Newbie's Grandma's Lefse"

Anyway......this recipe is very different from the recipes I have used, and which I assume could be the "Americanized" version of lefse recipes.  I don't know how familiar you are with American geography, but up in the northern states such as Minnesota and North Dakota, a large number of the people there are of Norwegian descent, and their recipes, at least all the ones I saw (and I saw many!) have potatoes as the main ingredient, cooked and mashed, and only small amounts of milk or cream, sugar and flour.  The biggest problem we had was that the dough was VERY sticky and hard to roll out, no matter how long we refrigerated it, and they are rolled out very thin, like maybe 2-3 mm?   I think most people here like to spread butter on them, and add sugar and cinnamon and roll them up to eat.  Some like just butter, and they even taste good for breakfast, I think, rolled up with bacon or ham and/or cheese.

Your recipe sounds delicious and more like a breakfast pastry, as you described.  I definitely want to try to make it.  The metric measurements might be a bit of a challenge, but with my science background, I think I can manage   (Is "dl" a deci-liter, as in 1/10 of a liter?)

Thanks again, and nice photo!
