I am increasingly convinced that the PEOPLE can fix the mess.
Maybe not as instant and convenient as some would like... and per haps not all at once... but the tide HAS changed. (my 2 cents)
See now that is a much more pragmatic and responsible way of stating things. Indeed, the people can fix the mess, and no it won't be instant or convenient. The mechanism for doing so is getting involved at the local levels, becoming active in researching the things that need to be fixed, researching who and what they are voting for, and by all means make sure that they get out to vote (even in boring mid-terms). Writing and calling ones representatives is also a great way to make sure their voice is heard, at least in most cases. Organizing family and friends or folks with similar viewpoints to spread the word, and or research exactly what a politician means when they say "we have to pass the bill, before we can find out what's in it.".
Sieze your power as an individual and speak out, don't fall for the insane back door attacks that are doomed to fail before they even start.
Just my opinion.
