I now drink Jack, smoke cigars (always did, but now do with him), talk to strange bird women and take their picture and generally do things I never would have done two years ago.
Those are just the vices.
I'm now an American History buff and get excited when I find a new Morris Canal crossing.
Oh yeah...I also kicked his ass in my very first gambling pool.
Every little bit that he's exposed me to has made me stronger and happier. I may actually succeed one day....

Aileen, it could be much worse. Just a couple of hours ago my buddy was tatooing his olady's leg. It's a big one and being done in stages. When they "do it" it sounds like they're having sex !

Yes, we have a tatoo parlor on wheels, totally almost legal. There is a regular gun available, but most choose the jailhouse gun which is made from the motor from a cassette deck or CD player, a bic pen, a guitar string and some electrical tape all mounted on a former eating device such as a fork or spoon. Either will work.

Talk about leaving a mark, and they are not even kinky ! Plus the fact that she has sensitive skin and is borderline diabetic therefore she bruises, she looks like someone took a baseball bat to her the next day. But she is determined to go through with it. This is a very complex tatoo and has to be done in stages, it has pixies and flowers all over the place as well as frogs or something, I forget. But when she starts whining like a baby I was thinking of getting out a guitar and putting music to it.

Rubbing off on you seems much better now eh ?

I like that he's rubbing off on me. I think it's a downfall when two people don't have a desire to share some common interests.

GD and I are doing a dump run this morning. The scent of rotting produce and 2 week old diapers wafting in the breeze......pure bliss.

(for those in more urban environ....when a person lives out here in rural Iowa, they do not have weekly garbage pick-up. Once every couple of months, we load up the cans and haul them to the garbage dump. It's a self serve type of dealio. Not exactly my favourite thing during warm weather)

Apparently a LOT of people do. I don't know if there are that many babies in Jefferson County or if it's that there are so few people potty trained.
