The world it seems, and people on this forum are continuously blatting on about what ratzinger did, how he covered up sex crimes. Now we have Dawkins here, a known atheist, who is extreme to some, but he in whatever capacity has taken it upon himself to seek the arrest of ratzinger when he visits Britain. If we are to believe all of what is presented to us via the news, then I commend Dawkins for having the power of his convictions to do something about the wrongs he understands have been committed. Anyone who says Dawkins is misguided in his actions has to examine their own thoughts on the reported catholic church child abuse claims, if you believe where there is smoke there is fire, then you have to understand Dawkins is at least making an attempt to seek justice or at least an explanation gained in a court of law.
Anyone who tries in the face of adversity should be commended for their actions, and in the case of Dawkins, whether he is trying to self promote or whatever, it means nothing to myself, his writings do not interest me, but I personally commend him for trying where others will not even think to try.
But, I suspect,if ratzinger comes to Britain despite the pending court actions, as soon as Dawkins tries to approach or arrest the pope, he will be shot in the so called name of papal security and later apologised for.
