Does anyone in this site seriously believe that Obama will be elected to a second term?
Yeah , I do...and some of the reasons have already been enumerated...but given your short attention span let me restate them(I will even number them for you...so as to make it easier for a gentleman of your advanced age,by the way given that fact...why do you care ,can more easily follow along)
1) The economy is bouncing back....slowly yes...but the trend is definitly in the right direction.
2) He will face no serious Democratic Primary challenge...allowing him to gear up solely for the general. An incumbant in such a position is truly a formidal opponent.
3) Lack of a credible challenger on the horizon from the Republican side....take a look at the likely "pretenders" to their nomination....pick whoever you like from that bunch, and than try....please try to make a credible case for that candidate tounseating an incumbant.
4) Health Care...whether you think it was the perfect legislation or not....he got it done...an historic step forward that the voters will not forget.

Wow, i miss the good stuff when i work. Sad many others dont work at all. Anyways... a few points.

I would rather a President who knows protocol and curtesy than one who wanders around kissing Kings.

As far as Obama being relected... yep, he will be. I truly dont expect to see the RNC toss out a viable candidate until 2016. Obama has alot of clout beneath his belt already. Health Care, Reduction of nukes with Russia, His handling of Haiti, Stock Market over 11000, just to name a few. And he still has two years to go. Unless something happens to majorly mess up the economy, his policies will be viewed as having kept the financial world from being tossed on its ass.

What a bizarre concept voting for someone you want for the office.

And are we speaking of Nader, Perot, or Barbie?

I am speaking of the man who would rather vote for what he wants and not get it than to vote for what he does not want just to be on the winning side

See I guess it's all about perspective...for instance I find nothing at all sad about the fact that I don't have to work...while you apparently are upset over this fact

p.s. On second thought the chronic pain, the need for a large vial of vicodin and the 4X a year spinal epidurals might actually qualify as ...sad.Yep I retract the whole statement.

For anyone who missed this photo on the thread that was. Here is a photo of Bush ( and Putin ) showing the proper way to look statesmanlike,  when meeting the Chinese.
