Not able to. That is okay since I do have my MP3 player with radio (and recording and audiobooks)

I will check that out.  Our classic rock station has 107 min music block on now- so... when that tires.

Not exactly what you asked, but I feel like bragging. I'm a DJ on the world's largest "gothic" internet radio station, and my shows have quickly grown to a simultaneous audience of over 100,000 listeners. From what I understand, Sirius Satellite is looking to pick us up for North America (Links are in my sig).

I digress... In response to your question, the ONLY radio I listen to is online radio unless I am in car or in the company of someone listening to another radio source. A zillion channels with nearly unlimited material at my fingertips, from the hottest commercial releases, to the outsider underground nobody wanted anything to do with (except the weirdo likes of me).

Terrestrial radio is awesome and definitely has its place (I have a weakness for 60's/70's AM Gold) and satellite radio has its place too (for a fee), but I think in terms of true variety, online radio is where it is at.

Wherever.

I have an elaborate Pandora mix. I listen to NPR and some of the iTunes radio too.

Yeah, I do. I usually have a number of different places online I go, depending upon mood and convenience.

Last.fm
iTunes radio links
Magnatune
Pandora

Those are the four main sites I use though I'm checking out iLike a bit more these days. Lala has a unique business model and it'll be interesting to see what Apple does with this company.

Yes, pretty much everywhere.  I use my cell phone for it.  Good times.  Have my own online station actually.

If so many listen online that FM should get better to retain a base?

we have had 3 new FM stations come online in the last 8 months - and they all play the same crap as anyone else.  when my family is home after school all I hear is the kids, the TV, the kids, general conversation, computer beeps and DS/PSP?Wii blips......

so when I'm alone I listen to my cat snore........................ seriously - I will take silence over any kind of music most days

I'm a musician, and I often do that too---I need the downtime, and find it peaceful.

Plus I live in the country, so the natural sounds alone are already quite pleasant.

Are you handy with a lawn mower? Or a garden spade?
