Require your sub to do your taxes.

I am doing mine (with a few breaks...) and damn I just hate this.  Facing this as a prospective punishment would not be pleasant.  It would never be considered 'funishment'.

Variations:  reorganizing filing cabinet, going through hundreds of receipts, and (worst of all) trying to understand a nice little tax instruction booklet.

I submit, Ma'am!  Please, please...Not the taxes!!!!!

This made me laugh, because Tink jumped at the opportunity to get our taxes done this year. Granted he had a professional doing it for him (for free) on post, but I still giggled.

I have done taxes before. My father owns a business so he has tons of receipts.

Doing paperwork has never bothered me. I would like to think it was my reading speed. EDIT: It took me 36 hours. LOTS of receipts.

My retention is poor of late.

That's an excellent one. Mine, however, works in any season....

The books need to be dusted and catalogued.
ALL the books.
I have over a thousand running feet of bookshelf, most of it full. Some of it double-stacked.

Is it bad that I agree with Pyro, but only because I love the idea of getting to rummage through so many books? The 'dusting' and the 'as a punishment' bits aren't half so sexy...

Pyro, you can come clean up my book collection anytime

As for taxes, fortunately, mine are easy now ... the worst part is that I now have to keep track of my medical expenses for the whole year, instead of only until I get enough to send them to my flex account.

Be sure to threaten the sub that if the IRS does an audit they will get a bare bottomed spanking in front of the tax officers.

No problem. Just realize it's not going to be done quickly. Let's see, reading one book a day it will be all done in about ten years. I think every room ought to have bookshelves.
