I think your cat is a demonic furry sprite that has hypnotised you and stolen part of your immortal sould to further it's malevolent and vindictive schemes and further it's lust for power. It will haunt you forever unless you give it tuna.
But then, that's all cats.

Yeah, she will only eat tuna, not the cat food slop, but tinned tuna, albeit the extremely cheap stuff I won't eat, but the cat loves it and goes mental when I open a tin. I look at it this way with cats, if I won't eat their food, I cannot expect them to, and cat food slop, no way, I don't care how nutritious the makers say it is, the cat turns her nose up at it, and so would I ( and she has just lobbed up a puke covered furball on my carpet, I better sort that out )

Re Term opening up tvs to find them filled with cat hair. My first computer, when it stopped working and went into the shop, was discovered the only thing wrong with it was the amount of dog hair inside. They vacuumed it and it was good as new.

There is a really funny Chris Miller story that I read in National Lampoon many years ago, and would love to find again. It is told through the eyes of the cat, and the invisible things that cats attack are called "greebles."

Cats- I think do that per the electrical current.

In feng shui - a cat is useful to figure out the energy zones in a house.  I don't know details-- but that is what my old FS master said.

When you get into this type of shit Hunky you'll have to talk to my sinister,,,oops sister. I may be a closet catperson but she is more like a personcat. She hypnotizes them and they are loyal to no end. They can hear her car coming from streets away on her way home from work and patiently await her at the door. I'm glad she has two houses because I still don't want any animals kept here.

Although she doesn't identify as such, she is as close to being as dominant as I as it comes. She is starting to realize it slow but sure. But now she is having her second childhood. I can't even control her now. While she does work, she is getting wild and I hope she knows that we just don't have that kind of money now, so don't fuck up. She almost acts like a cat. Nice and calm but ready to pounce and tear someone up, despite the consequenses. She has been directly responsible for broken glass in the past, and more recently in a bar took a guy's sunglasses and stomped them into the floor. I'm just glad she was at a place where we have people. I hope this stage doesn't go on too long but the point of all this is, that I think she identifies with cats. Perhaps even has some rudimentary communication method with them unknown to most, including me.

Enough for now.

I didn't really want a cat.  But it worked out.  :-)

It floors me how a cat can be exuberantly happy for no reason at all.    The purr thing- then the cat deciding who is and isn't approachable.

This cat was supposed to go up to live with Jenny- that was the plan.  But- plans change.   I think she throws her back out- and seems double jointed.

I am glad I have a cat that chooses to live with me, cantankerous as she may be sometimes, but I am happier with my cat

Yeah, I have noticed that with my cat, sometimes it will stare intently at nothing, when she does this, her eyes are wide open and her hair on end, as though she has seen something scary or unfathomable. I wonder if there is another creature in here, so go and look, but there is nothing, when I move to look, the cat legs it and hides somewhere.

Another time and place my ex's cat did this one evening, he looked terrified, but ready to fight, he was looking at something by the side of me, the cat crept past, looking at the edge of the chair with wide eyes and hair on end. The cat was definately looking at something, but there was nothing there, except a patch of cold in a centrally heated room.

I don't know about your cat or your ex's, but if Aiki did that... I'd be willing to bet the farm that there was something there, whether or not I could see it.

K.

Well it is known that they hear a different spectrum of sound than we do, so it's not illogical to assume that they might see a different spectrum of light than we do.
