Real, name one bill, in congress or introduced in congress by either the senate or HR number that has the purpose of disarming the American public, back up your claims with links to the FULL text of the bill to prove your point. Quit spouting your paranoid bullshit and prove your point. Considering that President Obama is on record supporting the 2nd amendment, do your own fact checks, google Barack Obama on gun control for yourself.

Real, I am talking about now, I said prove your point that there is a bill or bills in congress to disarm the american public, I will go one further, PROVE that there is ANY movement by the Federal Government to disarm the public. Prove that President Obama has instructed ANYONE to start disarming the American Public. Funny thing is that I just bought an M1A rifle and there was no one that tried to prevent me from doing so. There has been no attempt to take any of the firearms I own away from me by anyone. Your right wing paranoid bullshit is getting old. On the many healthcare discussions here, its often argued that the US system is one characterised by reliance on prescription medicines, driven by the profit motive of big pharma. It appears unfortunate that, from the diverse evidence provided in this thread, this reliance does not seem to extend to the field of psychiatry. E

Which states there is no need to apply for a CCW permit. A citizen can carry as they wish. Open Carry or Concealed. Have you ever lived in Arizona? Carried a weapon openly.....it is also an 'open' invitation to be stopped by the police, questioned, have your piece confiscated etc. Open carry has been forever in AZ. Just try it. Your piece should be unloaded, your cylinder should be removed....any reason, and why are you packin', on it goes...they fill out a card, your ID, including ss#, where you work, etc, etc. If you hike the deserts, you had better be armed.....not so much for the desert creatures but for the two legged city desert creatures. Now, with this no need for CCW permit, the police can just stop anyone, they 'think' maybe packin', search and seisure without probable cause. Anyone and everyone is suspect, and open to being stopped at any time. More powers to the police. Yet, this law is hyped as being more freedom to the people, giving them the right to carry and protect, since bad guys do not routinely apply for permits to carry their weapons. In Kennesaw Geo; the police encourage the citizens to own a firearm, encourage it; home invasions are down to nil, and violent crimes are almost nil; DUI's are the major offender. I'm glad you commented, so many just take for granted anything said about hitler, just as de Sade. The Weimar republic's gun laws of 1938 just gave over more power to the police. Sorry to bust in.......please forgive.......You are right, I know of no bill which openly advocates the seisure or confiscation of citizen's weapons, in fact, one can legally purchase a Barrett .50 cal. sniper rifle, going though the proper channels and class FFL holder. For that matter, one can illegally purchase one, knowing the right people, or wrong people as the case maybe. However, the laws, as they are now, are so permissively vague; that at any time, an abuse of firearms, by...'whoever'....can and does cause a ....'MEDIA' .....hype to demand controls and actions which can pressure government responses to chaos situations.... whether fabricated or genuine. I am of the opinion ....it is better to have one, and not need it; than to need it and not have one. And going one step further, I don't want some 200,000 dollar per year suit, making it possible for me not to have one, and tell me, I don't need it, the police are there to protect me. And they try everything, the Brady bill is a class example.
