Even if you don't own a gun, anyone with any common sense would agree that other people do have the right to defend themselves. Even if you could confiscate every gun in America, which is impossible, people can still break into your home with baseball bats, knives, stun guns, crossbows, and they could also make home made weapons like they do in prison. The gun is the great equalizer, especially for women. At least with a gun, the criminal knows he has a 50/50 chance of being killed as well. Another great reason to own a gun is that by defending yourself, you also prevent something from happening to other people as well. You don't just protect yourself, you protect society as well.
Obama and the liberals will continue to nominate liberal activist judges who want to circumvent the constitution any way they can. The only way to ensure the right of self defense, and limit government control is for the people to be responsible for their own security in conjunction with state, and local law enforcement.
Once they disarm America, the marxists can do whatever they want without too much fear of consequences. I could even see them raising the Mexican flag over Washington D.C. someday. If you don't have any guns, there's nothing you can do about it. Canada should be really frightened. There are only about 35 million people in Canada, and they will lose political control to these people far sooner than we will.

The police? They'd run out of police in a day or two if they tried! They'd be shot down in the streets. "O.K. guys, we're going house to house on this block confiscating any firearms." They wouldn't make it halfway up the block! Once word got out they'd be outnumbered a thousand to one.
Would you follow those orders if you were a cop? I wouldn't! "Hey Sarge, here's my badge and my gun, I quit!"
And who in their right mind would "obey" *anyone* trying to do something like that? Not me! And I'm not even "hardcore" on this issue.
And people would be sniping at anyone in the govt. who even proposed such a thing! They'd have a life expectancy of maybe three days!
And as for Canada that sounds like a good business opportunity if that ever happened up there, they smuggle ciggarettes every day across that border now!
Why not high-value weapons? Much more lucrative!
I don't buy into all that "conspiracy" crap.
