The link is correct, Des. OK. Here is my take on what we are seeing. At first glance, I thought it was just a bunch of idiots paying good money (577 T-rex ammo goes for upwards of $15 a round, custom built rifles that can fire it start at more than $4,000) to hurt themselves in the basement of a gun shop, but the clothing, accents, and set-up of the firing station don't match that interpretation. I think this video compilation is from the private range of some disgustingly wealthy oil sheik who likes to invite guests to fire his elephant gun so he can watch. That would make the collection of middle-aged caucasians in casual American dress Texas millionaires who probably aren't thrilled to see themselves looking so stupid on YouTube. Some of the reactions are quite telling (I loved the guy in robes who cowers with his hands up after dropping the rifle). I could be wrong, of course, but if I'm not, then the last guy on the video closed whatever deal he was looking to make. To answer my own question, yes, I do "test" aquaintances along the way to becoming friends. Nothing this elaborate, but if their sense of humor doesn't reveal itself organically, I will go looking for it.
