Hello, Just some 'background noise'; years ago, being in my late teens, I was stopped by police, on 4 or 5 occassions, asked to present ID, driver's license, and other forms of ID, fill out a sort of registration type card, containing, SS#, residence, born info, employment info, etc. Now, this was many years ago, I am not Latino, nor Mexican, nor do I look like one. There was no crimes, nor was I a fugitive, nor was I engaged in any shady, suspicious activity....just walking down the street in the middle of downtown Phoenix. So why was I stopped.....because the police wanted to stop me. So what is the big hoopla. When I was stopped, there wasn't a law, now there is one....soooooo. What about the Random road-checks ?? The police will do as they wish....what are you going to do about it. It seems to me, that it may have been illegal for this random stopping of a citizen.... even years ago...now they just made it legal. So what are you going to do about it?
