kittin, I agree with your post, and I am not too "chicken-shit" to discuss anything, especially the immigration process. I am not surprised that the immigration system here is a nightmare! You know why? Because most of the systems in our country need to be over-hauled, not just how we handle immigration issues!! I work in the school system, and that system is broken, and is getting worse every day. If our country is having an economic crisis, a housing crisis, an employment crisis, a health care crisis and our educational system is in crisis, why in the hell should the process of becoming a US system be in better? I don't see any countries in this world, that don't have issues, and I don't know of any country that I consider anywhere near being a utopian society. When you find that perfect country, let me know and I will see how quickly and easily I can obtain citizenship THERE. Until then I will stick with the very imperfect USA. Actually, the USA with all its crap, issues and problems is MY Utopia. Making it easier to become a legal citizen in this country, will just have to take a number behind affordable housing, healthcare, the economy and the school system.
