No Popeye, I have not missed the point. One should not back down from evil.....okay. However, the 'evil' was on the part of S.P.; in that, they all decided to stir up the boiler pot, generate some publicity, get the people talking about the show, raise the show's visability ratings, get the big bucks flowing, get the ratings up. The S.P crew went for the spectacular....knowing all the while, these Big M. believers do not tolerate such slanders, jokes, etc.; not even true historic facts if it opposes Big.M's holy spot. And the S.P. crew did it to raise their paychecks. Irregardless of whatever the fallout may be. The 'fallout', evidently, was rather more than the S.P. crew had anticipated. So, they did what they did...backed down. But, so what, it still achieved their goal.....get people talking, get the ratings up, more visability for the show, thereby...going to the networks...hey, we want more moola. Now, Mr. Popeye, take into regard, the dynamic tensions of this world, the hate, everyone looking for the slightest of reasons to vent their anger, hostilities, hatreds, frustrations, ....... you have the makings of a real bad day for everyone. S.P. was irresponsible in their corporate decisions for...shall we say....greed's sake.
