Oh lord......I am an antiques nut, a jewelry nut, and a history nut. Some of my favourite things are a blanket chest from the 1700's with original faux finish that my grandmother brought with her to Iowa. A whole bunch of old family photos and documents she had in it, including many, behinds the scenes photos, of a circus my grandfather worked for in the late 30's. They are AWESOME! I have quite a lot of old SW indian silver jewelry including a very old tufa cast silver cross that is about 3 inches long. And several dozen arrowheads etc that have mostly been found around the area I live now. We've evidence that a tool maker lived on our property by the items we've found. When I find a half finished piece I love knowing that I am the first person to touch it since the person that was making it.
