Well,
This is going to be a legal name change so some things are not going to work. The other language theme is good and I've looked at that.

It's a harder choice than might be imagined

I havent read all the answers.

Every time ive named a pet, of the animal kind not human, the name just lands in my brain from interacting with the 4 legged creature.

You asking for suggestions, to me, rings as fantasy scenario not real life, during normal interactions something would have felt right.

Messalina.

Oh wait you wanted white trash names. Anything that is also the name of a luxury item, a liquor, or a concept would work, and then you have to spell it wrong. Think Destani, Brandee, Tiffinee, etc.

What, you mean the tasty mid-morning snack? :P

I'm not entirely sure if this is in my head because of my own thoughts or because someone has already suggested it, but I vote for cow names-Daisy Mirabelle, or something.

OMG I like both those names (Daisy and Mirabelle) - Daisy because I'm a huge Great Gatsby fan and Mirabelle because I like all those Romantic names that include the word pretty (Annabelle, Isabella, my own pseudo nick, etc).

Haha I never thought of them as cow names but now I'm scared someone on here might have a misspelled-liquor name and I feel bad

I'm not saying that Daisy and Mirabelle are cow names-Daisy Mirabelle is a cow name. If it's not double barrelled it's not bovine enough :P

Separately they are perfectly lovely.

Hehe okay I can sorta see that.

I still vote for Messalina. Messalina Jezebel would be even better. But I guess it's not as slutty if it's not blatantly obvious.

Well if we're getting Classical then Sempronia gets my vote (gotta love them Catalline conspiracists)-or Claudia (the original Cougar, as told by Cicero).

We might as well make all the time I had to spend memorising passages about high-class hookers for Latin GCSE worthwhile.

I'm not kidding-some of the set texts were pretty saucy!

Claudia had an apartment near the river so that she could 'vicariously watch the youths disport in their nudity' and Cicero accused her of taking her much younger lover on 'licentious pleasure boats'.

We learned bits of the Aeneid too-there's a bit where Dido and Aeneas fuck in a cave, complete with the resonating of the earth and the thundering of the sky, and nymphs all around on the mountaintops ululating like goats.

Being fifteen was fucking hilarious, y'know?
