My first love ended in heart break I only recently found out that I ment nothing to her. She openly admittedly that she was using me to buy her things and laughed at me.

I don't think I have had a "love" per se. Things have always ended from one side or the other due to a mismatch.

I let her get away because I was young, impetuous and foolish. It took me almost thirty years to find someone else who was that special. Steve Perry once said "Burnin' love comes once in a lifetime".  Some people aren't even that lucky. To have had it and let it go and to find it again is a sensation I cannot put into words.

I'm not sure i've ever been in true romantic love. I've been in romantic fantasy.

Anything that has been love and been true, has been with friendship and none have ended, except my marriage and that was a slow rotting decay, a final cut was made.


sorry to hear about you getting used. that hurts. i had it happen once. all we can do is learn, grow and move on.

The FIRST : Expensively ...

But since, when I gave her the boot, she said I'd never loved her anyway ( cliché ! ) ... I'll move on to the second (well, no sense in not moving on after a comment like that eh ?)

The SECOND : We still have love for each other, but fate had it that we were never meant to be together.

Regardless of that, I go with :

Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened.

My first Love ended like this, her and I staring deeply into each other eyes. Her and I both telling each other how much we were gonna miss one another. Expressing verbally how much we both meant to one another. I still remember her voice.. when she said "You know, I Love you" and she broke down into tears. We embraced each other tightly, as if trying to hold onto one another forever, the long deep passionate kiss.. more tears. The smiles in the middle of all the tears and sad faces. I'll never forget that day. My family was moving and she was moving away soon to go live with her mother. Sort of ironic the blows that fate dealt us both.

She was not only my first Love, she was my best friend, somebody I practically grew up with. My first love was never tainted or tarnish by a bitter breakup.

Well my first love began when he blackmailed me into kissing him saying he would tell i broke his crayon if i didn't, but it ended when another boy put his batman stickers on my braids and said i was his girlfriend.

Grins, ahhh memories of 1st grade.
