Status: offline 		Can anyone enlighten me?
 
I just had a dom decline getting to know me because i did not know what this is?  Though I don't think it's something that should totally knock me into the end zone, it is his choice ultimately.
 
Can anyone enlighten me?

As for 2040, that's the year in the universe of Star Trek: The Next Generation, that the television becomes obsolete.  Thanks, Wikipedia.  Other than that, it appears to mean nothing.

I know what 420 is but I copied his quote right from his profile.  I don't think it's right to obsolete someone based on one factor.  Even if he meant 420 or 2040 for StarTrek.  I like StarTrek so he is either just a player or not r/l or just someone I need not associate with!

Well I will take you as joking with me b/c I'm new in the lifestyle, but I don't think it's "my fault" for not knowing everything. 
 
I have sent him another email asking for his explanation as to why I don't fit with what he's looking for. 
 
Just for everyone and to clarify here is an excerpt from his profile and the context in which he used it:
 
"You should be 20-40 and attractive. I want to see you as a work of art that I help shape into something even more beautiful on the inside and outside."
 
I am beautiful inside and outside and I'm 40 yrs old, so I don't know what is the problem.  If I don't fit him fine but explanations as to why are always helpful in a persons growth.

This would most likely mean between the ages of 20 and 40.

Status: offline 		Ahhhh ok from what you took from the profile its an age range...........he wants you to be between 20-40 , and there maybe some other reason he isnt interested if you are 40 and hes saying you aren't what he is looking for

I agree that it may be a good ridance scenerio if he doesn't respond.  It's not going to break my spirit or self esteem. If it did I don't belong in the lifestyle, LOL.  You gotta have more to you than woe is me!

Status: offline 		Ahh, when someone says "you must be between 20 -40" they mean you're older than 20 years, but less than 40 years.
Actually I'm surprised you haven't heard that term before.  Maybe you just misread him.

Status: offline 		Ok I realise that maybe it sounds as if I was being stupid an not having much intelligence but one should never assume one's complete intelligence based on one comment or question.
 
I am highly intelligent Hello, I graduated with a 3.8 GPA in College!
 
What I'm saying is that I don't feel it's right for someone to just dismiss someone for one aspect that may have transpired in conversation. 
 
Geez, IMO he should lighten up a bit!  So I may have asked a stupid ?, it in no way says I'm stupid.  Didn't someone say there's no stupid ? anyway.  I guess not where he went.  Oh, well se la vie!
