I didn't write that. Were you drunk when you replied?

Stoned when you wrote this?

"We" always are. A good Republican like you should know that

One of the corner stones of Obama's health scare argument was that without reform the costs would bankrupt us as a nation, and so we had to get it done now, immediately, without even taking time to read the legislation.

Are you saying we wouldnt have become bankrupt? I would love to see your source for that one because every source i have seen has agreed... Medicare alone was going bankrupt.

Sanity -> RE: More Malarkey About Health Care (4/28/2010 6:08:35 AM)

No, try again, thats now what I wrote.

Obama insisted that his health care scheme would save us money, and without the associated savings we would face even worse financial crisis than we were in. But now that his bill was passed (with back room deals and bribes and threats and lies) the cat is out of the bag - our health care costs are going up on account of Obamacare.

We were either lied to AGAIN, or Obama is incompetent, or most likely its some combination of the two.

You are always drunk or you are always misquoting people? Which is it?

Sanity -> RE: More Malarkey About Health Care (4/28/2010 6:12:49 AM)

I get it now, I think he's trying to play the race card.

Wow.  All we need now is a contemptuous follow up by cuckyman and we'll be set! [8|]

Uh, no, actually we don't. No body need that kind of hate in their lives.

Louve00 -> RE: More Malarkey About Health Care (4/28/2010 10:52:54 AM)

Point taken.  What was I thinking!!  [:o]

DomYngBlk -> RE: More Malarkey About Health Care (4/28/2010 10:55:33 AM)

It was my original mistake think that sanity could differentiate his quotes from anyone else and therefore not answer to it. I was, however, wrong.

I should have realized the Rush and Glen Clan aren't great in the thinking department.

When your misquoted post says its in reply to someone other than who is quoted and its insulting you can as a general rule expect to receive some kind of a quiz regarding your post.

Arpig -> RE: More Malarkey About Health Care (4/28/2010 11:21:36 AM)

Oh come off it Sanity, I could tell right away he had used the Fast Reply function....don't be so friggin touchy, there's no need to imagine snarky posts aimed at you, there are enough real ones.

Sanity -> RE: More Malarkey About Health Care (4/28/2010 11:29:02 AM)

People generally indicate they're using the fast reply feature in such posts, arpig, specifically to minimize confusion.

Hadn't you noticed that before?

You of all people should know...gawd knows I have done my part in trying to disabuse you of your ignorance.

Geeeze you only have 8000+ post and you didn't it was a FR....maybe if you went over his past post you would find a lot of FR...

pahunkboy -> RE: More Malarkey About Health Care (4/28/2010 12:25:42 PM)

I have no idea what just happened.

I wrote it. What is specifically wrong?

quote:

tazzygirl:
I think you need to review the law again. More specifically, the rates of pay, who pays, who is subsidized and at what level of proverty people have to start paying.

Yes, the subsidies. What I learned about the subsidies is that the the Budget Office numbers do not add up. Starting 44,000 (about US median income for a single) and under means that about half of the population will get subsidies. How will 100 B a year do it?
Max 7% expense on 14,000 perhaps can be absorbed but it puts extra financial pressure on working poor. In addition, a lot of bureaucracy needs to be created to fight fraud.

Would you be so kind as to give us the mean and the mode as well as the median which you have quoted above.
For without it the figures you quote has little meaning

Fellow -> RE: More Malarkey About Health Care (4/28/2010 3:10:05 PM)

I do not see where the confusion is? Half of the population has income less than a median and half of the population has more meaning about half of the population will be subsidized to a variable extent. My guess was that operating a subsidy department will cost much more than the projected budget.
