It's too early but yes, we may need some legislation if only because I don't trust govt. or business to protect us or take the lead in proposing legislation. Current RFID chip inplants are optional.

I'd favor prohibition over any options.

Solution is simple. Split your pills in half - they all come marked to do that. If there's nothing inside - you're safe... for now.

Status: offline 		I think we are a few years from this.   Maybe 3.   They will start with controlled substances. (IMO)   Which could be used to  snag rxs from people.   When I worked at the group home- we could give meds 1 hour prior and 1 hour after the time note.
When one fails the 2 hour span then by law we were required to follow other procedures to remedy such.

Status: offline 		pahunk... those are rules set up by the state for medication distribution and pretty much standard in any hospital or nursing home. what does that have to do with anything?

You are prescribed medicine by a DR you paid to prescribe it.

You buy it, making the pharmaceutical companies happy.

You dont take it.

Your back to the Dr, who gives you another.

You buy the new medicine.

See the cycle?

Drs and pharmacy companiesd do.

Status: offline 		Even though I wouldn't put anything past "them" , this one is too far fetched. Though it is entirely possible right now there are too many problems. One is that most of even the sheeple will not "swallow" it. Also the cost of implementation is a factor. With all this I see about ten years before anything of the sort is implemented, if ever. They probably won't have the money for it by then.

Some of the refutations are innaccurate. First of all an implant would not have to interface with your DNA or RNA, each has a unique ID and all it has to do is detect the drug. They would already know who's bloodstream it is.

Also the lack of law is not quite up to snuff as a debunker. A judge can order a sex offender to be implanted, and in CA any dog over a certain weight must be implanted.

Rights and law notwithstanding, cost vs benefit is the main factor. They don't care if we live or die, so what would be the point ? The only ones who could benefit are researchers for drug companies, it removes the random element of noncompliance from the raw data. But then by the imposition of fines for noncompliance could help finance the program. I don't even think the lowest form of sheeple would like that.

As far as I am concerned, let them go ahead. It would surely be politicide which would get many incuments out of offfice.

And contrary to what the others say, I think you should STOP the meds. Except for those needed to keep you alive, the rest is all garbage.

A judge can also sentence someone to jail time. Without a crime being commited, such a ruling would be constituted as false imprisonment and would have the ACLU screaming up a fit.

There isnt a lack of law. Assault and Battery charges would ensue. As well as medical malpractice. Cant even clip a toe nail these days in a Drs office without a consent form being signed.

His staff knew that I knew my rights.    His staff tried to correct the guy.  It was tho easier to replace him-- which is what I did.

Status: offline 		The meds thing.  A DR can know full well that ABC meds will do nothing- but must try that before moving on to DEF med.

All the while we could cut to the chase and make it easier.

In Michigan, hospice can do that. But seeing that they were the ones who gave us the drugs to begin with, I didn't have a problem with giving them back after they were no longer needed.
