CNN) -- A trans-Atlantic Delta Air Lines flight was diverted to Bangor, Maine, on Tuesday because a passenger claimed he had explosives, law enforcement officials said. Federal air marshals on board Flight 273 from Paris, France, to Atlanta, Georgia, took the passenger into custody, Delta spokeswoman Susan Elliott said, and he was being questioned by authorities. In addition to explosives, the detained passenger claimed that he had false documents, two law enforcement officials said. Investigators had found no explosives so far, they said. The passenger, a U.S. citizen, was not flagged in any databases, they said. story and video
