Maybe we need a "Stonerepublican" group. But what would their campaign slogan be? "Pass the Cheetohs?"

"Who did you think voted for the chimp?"
"Cho' man. Have some herb. End recession soon come...."

If you don't read what you sign, it's no one's fault but your own.

So your saying it's OK to lie and take advantage of people?

Is that what she is saying? I thought she was saying you better make damn sure you read things you sign, because some people have been known to lie. And if you are too lazy to read it, then you are partly to blame.

Nice of you to reword her post but I don't read the word "PARTLY" in there anywhere.

I say the same thing to you.  You think this behavior is ok, and just screw the people who were lied to?

Oh well.

Did I say that? Yea, didn't think so. But for the record, no it's not ok to screw people and yes people should take some responsibility for the shit they sign. That's why you can't sign a contract with a minor in most cases. Once you become an adult, you are supposed to be able to figure some shit out all on your own.

Did I say you said that , no I didn't think so.  I asked you a question.

It is either OK to lie and try and manipulate people or it is not.  The rest of it is a side show to say well it might not be OK,  but but .

-FR-

I'm less astonished by the fact that these people were tricked and more astonished by the fact that someone who is able to ask "What is a Republican" is still legally allowed to vote.

Do you get some kind of thrill out of trying to twist peoples words? Do you honestly believe anyone falls for it?

servantforuse -> RE: Campaigners used pot petition to dupe voters into registering as Republicans (4/29/2010 4:45:29 PM)

They probably got the idea from watching ACORN volunterers...

What word twisting?  It was a simple question.  Do you think it is OK to lie and try and manipulate people?

Yes or no

The rest of your rambling is aside show.  You either think it is OK or you think it is not.

What word twisting or you speaking about?

thishereboi -> RE: Campaigners used pot petition to dupe voters into registering as Republicans (4/30/2010 5:11:34 AM)

I answered the question. But obviously you're having some kind of problem reading it. So one more time.

But for the record, no it's not ok to screw people and yes people should take some responsibility for the shit they sign.

Is that clear enough for you?

No, that's the answer.  The rest of it is a side show.

Funny how you can get so angry over a simple question.  It's either OK, or its not.

DarkSteven -> RE: Campaigners used pot petition to dupe voters into registering as Republicans (4/30/2010 6:05:29 AM)

The local GOP got royally screwed on this.  "the Register suggests that the blame may lie with the county GOP's practice of paying an $8 "bounty" for every new Republican registration."  Who cares if someone registers Dem or Rep, it's how they vote that counts. So they got screwed by paying for signed up Republicans that weren't genuine GOP, and now by the fraud case.

Amazing that the idiots got burned in 2006 and didn't learn from it!

That said, it sure doesn't look like Cypress College and Golden West College are hotbeds of intellectual activity...

Not angry, just frustrated that you keep asking a question that I already answered and then playing stupid about it. What are you, 12?
