ORIGINAL: delmano Seeking female bottom who is an avid reader of the romance/erotic fiction genre, to help proofread, edit, and possibly collaberate on erotic romance novel. I seek a woman's perspective. This will be a medium term relationship (6 months perhaps) during the finishing of the book. I have 90,000 words written; a typical novel is 120-180k words. I prefer someone sweet, sensual and affectionately natured, with excellent written communication skills in english, and is or was at least slightly involved in the BDSM community. Can not tolerate gregarious, outspoken or opinionated. If you are in a bound relationship, you must have your Master/partner's permission. Must have time available to put toward this project. If collaboration or editing is provided and book is published, a compensation agreement will be arranged. Contact will be primarily by email. If personal meeting is mutually desired, it will be at a local munch or perhaps BDSM Club... however please note, it will be as spectator only. This is not a "play" relationship. If interested, tell me a little about yourself, your submissive knowledge, your relationship situation, and why you think you will be a help to me. I am[1] seeking female bottom who is an avid reader of the romance/erotic fiction genre, to help proofread, edit, and possibly collaborate on erotic romance novel. I would like[2] a woman's perspective. This project will last approximately 6 months.[3] I have 90,000 words written; a typical novel is 120-180k words. I prefer someone sweet, sensual and affectionately natured[4], who is highly proficient in written[5] English [6]. I[1] cannot tolerate gregarious[7], outspoken or opinionated[8]. If you are in a bound relationship, you must have your Master/partner's permission. You[1] must have time available to put toward this project. If [9] editing is provided and book is published, a compensation agreement will be arranged.[10] Our[1] contact will be primarily by email. If a[1] personal meeting is mutually desired, it will be at a local munch or perhaps BDSM Club... however please note, it will be as spectator only. This is not a "play" relationship.[11] If you are[1] interested, please[12] tell me a little about yourself, your submissive knowledge, your relationship situation, and why you think you will be a help to me. _________________________ [1] Pick a style and stick with it. If you are going to write your request as an add, follow through, if you are going to make a post, follow through. Personally I would go for a post style because of the length. [2] Redundant, you already used the word "seeking" in the previous line. [3] This whole comment doesn't make sense. Based on what do you consider 6 months to be a "medium term" relationship? [4] Either go for "with a sweet, sensual and affectionate nature" or "who is sweet, sensual and affectionate." [5] Sounded awkward. [6] Redundant. This is a BDSM site; you're not going to find vanilla volunteers here. [7] Are you sure this is the word you are looking for? Gregarious means "sociable" are you looking for a person that isn't sociable? [8] Are you sure this is what you mean? You are looking for somebody to edit and to give an opinion, right? So why would you want them to not be opinionated and outspoken? [9] Redundant [10] Surely you mean that this agreement will be made prior to the start of the services you are asking for, right? [11] If your intent is not to have a play relationship then why is it necessary that any meetings would be held at munches or BDSM clubs? What is wrong with meeting for coffee in any other public place? Really, because of the way you put this, it comes across like your intent is the opposite of what you claim it to be. [12] It never hurts to be polite, even when addressing subs. __________________________ I've edited books before, though not in English, but I would be really hesitant to take on a project with you even if adequate compensation is provided. If this post is any indication of your writing style, you are nowhere near the stage of bringing in another person to edit. You will need to do a lot more revisions yourself before you let anybody else read your work.
