There are probably 50 threads on this topic, but I did not check. In reaction to another thread...What are the qualities of your PERFECT Dom? The one you daydream about, wake up warm and wanting from dreaming about, the one you sigh over.

I know I'll get jumped for this, but oh well I really like those that are extremely sadisitic and cruel ( yes I said cruel ), one who enjoys giving pain simply for the purpose of giving pain. This is a huge attraction for me.

While i truly believe that Thorns is "The Man".......There is no one that can/could compare to Him. He is not perfect, nor do i believe there IS a Perfect Dominant. ~smilezz~

There is not a perfect Dom on this planet. Perfect for me would be one who can accept me for who I am, One who shows respect as it is given, and one who will grant the balance I feel is necessary to survive happily in. treazure

the perfect dom? One who takes his sub's needs into consideration as s/he is serving him and meeting all of his needs? That's a question not the answer.

I agree there is no perfect (althogh my Master comes pretty close) but there are Dom's that are perfect for people like my Master and i. For me a quality that makes a good Dom is kindness, being firm but gentle, i also love it if a Dom can make me laugh. Those are what i find very attractive in a Dom. My Master has all 3. I have a top ten list of perfect Dom qualities. But the main things for me are that he understands the difference between being a Top and being a Dom and that he is a Dom. That he enjoys the mental aspects of being Dom, for me that means that he understands how my mind works and I am likely to react to things and he enjoys offering guidance in all aspects of my life. Also that he wants a sub with a mind of her own, not some doormat that automatically agrees to everything.

I put two posts because I wanted to add, if you had me make a list of qualities before I met him , they would probably have been different. Since being Owned and living with hiim 24/7 for years now, this is what turned out to be most important. I hope this makes sense :)

I have met your dream Dom.. here on CM... he lives in Ca... and he just loves to enflict pain... for the sake of inflicting... he's been sort of helping me explore more of my love for pain.
