ORIGINAL: BlkDomCple Can anyone explain masochism and their interests in it? probably...but not me. I don't go into explanations, I just 'am' I understand that if a dominant wishes to give it the sub should recieve it. Only if that's the agreed dynamic. Many D/s relationships don't involve S&M. I understand it also comes into play in discipline and training. I don't do 'discipline and training'. I prefer adult conversation regarding likes, dislikes, rules, etc. It can be erotic for some, and I can understand how it fits into submission in general. OK Im more concerened with the so called 'pain pigs', 'pain sluts', and whatever other variations people call themselves now of days that are into pain for the sake of recieving it. Try 'masochist'. Or 'maso'. I'm not a slut or a pig, and I find it irritating, condescending and downright vulgar when someone calls me that. We are generally curious because we've ran across some peoples profiles that are only interested in having someone use, abuse, scar and basically beat the crap out of them. Maybe they're fantasists, maybe they're masochists - why don't you ask them? Can you explain your fetish, because it isnt one we share? If you don't share it, you must have reasons for that. Think of what turns you off about S&M, and then imagine what it would be like if your strong dislike were to turn to strong like. Then you'd be catching on. We dont mean to condemn or offend anyone, but we are just generally curious. Maybe you are, and it's good to ask. Just please remember there are people on the other end of your question who may find your rather clumsy questioning technique rather offensive, whether you mean it or not.
