I hope I can avoid the snarky comebacks this time.  No, I'm not a frat guy in North Dakota State between classes.  I am a real person with years of experience.  Hopefully, no one will take this as a do-me post.  OK?

Here goes:

I'm a typical middle-aged guy, with normal amounts of body hair.  Lots of photos of guys here and elsewhere feature men with hairless bodies.

Do women now like men who are pretty much hairless on the body? 

(BTW, this trend is also evident (to a lesser extent) in women, i.e. bikini waxing so hair down there is almost all gone.  I personally think the trend is to look younger and younger, but that's just my opinion.)

We prefer hairless.

It really depends on what we're both wanting to do.  I prefer being able to see what I'm doing. So if someone should remove his clothes and prove he is neanderthal man, at minimum he's going to trim around his nipples and genitals so that I can find the damn things!  But if he has a lot of hair but it isn't getting in the way then I won't worry about it.

Smooth is fun to play with. No hair to get in the way of whatever sensations I might like to apply to the skin. Personally, I shave because I find it's generally tidier and increases my pleasure when I recieve oral service.

Good gods, man.  Did you think we were all stamped on by the same cookie cutter?  Women don't all like the same things, and men don't all look good with the exact same hair style either. 

I generally like my boys fuzzy, if they have a more masculine look to them to begin with.  Body hair accentuates that look.  When I collared a handsome and well built lad who had been keeping himself smooth by personal preference, I put a stop to that habit because he just looks better with body hair.  However if I collared a boy who could really pull off the androgynous look, slender and hairless and ethereal, then him I'd keep smooth.  There is no one size fits all answer, sometimes not even with the same domme.

I don't think you should generalize "woman now" but there seems to be more and more a trend for men to have their body hair removed.

I personally like a man with hair on his chest. For me, this is manly. That said, I like a man au naturel but groomed. Most importantly, in the end, this really doesn't have the hugest impact on the overall grand scheme of things.

In My case, it has nothing to do with a trend.  I prefer sub males to have a hairless torso because it is practical for certain types of play.  Body hair can be an obstacle, if not an outright deterrent when it comes to things such as fire play, wax, or fire cupping.  I'm not a fan of the smell of burnt hair during play, so if the hair doesn't exist, neither does the concern.  Very simple when you think about it.

i always associate having hair as power.  so if you are submissive - you should have no say in it - you do what you are told.  in my instance that means i am hairless as that is what my Mistress wants.  i feel more submissive when i am made to stay hairless....

Best thing to do is ask. I minimumly keep it trimmed short and my balls and ass shaved. But I am don't mind about being totally shaved so I asked my play partner her preference any she said hairless. So thats what it will be then

     I like a boy who has removed his hair because it proves that he has gone through nearly as much trouble as a female might have to make himself pretty.  Effort is hot. So is a greater balance between the sexes. A little nubbin of flesh peeping from an overgrown forest of pube is not. (in my book, anyway.  If you find that attractive, I salute you.) There are probably a few exceptions, as there are some males who just look better with the hair, but as a general rule, I'll take them hairless from the nose down. That and candle wax stuck in body hair is just a mess.
    Symbolically, having him depilated robs him of his manhood, transforming him into a prepubescent boy, much like I imagine having women wax their vajes makes them resemble preteens from the waist down. Kind of hideous, when taken in that context, that this is what society has come to expect, but never mind. That's a whole 'nother rant. While it is disturbing that anyone should prefer this (myself included), it is another subtle but effective way to reinforce D/s roles.

I agree with you it's a trend. Everytime I'm at the salon there is some dude there getting his hair waxed off. Personally I do like hair on a mans chest. Hair on a mans back is just gross.

I like to use my mouth - biting, licking, sucking ... and I do NOT like getting hair in my mouth. I'll take nice, smooth skin over hairy any day.

personally I use nair for men (its for guys because it comes in a manly gray tube even though its the same as the female version) great product once every two weeks and I'm as smooth as silk.from the eyebrows down.
