Military personnel blow the whistle on exercise which involved troops taking protesters to concentration camps

Thursday, April 29, 2010 In a shocking development that outstrips even the infamous MIAC report, it has emerged via whistleblowers that the U.S. Military in Kentucky is training to confront Tea Party protesters and anti-government demonstrators, who in official intelligence advisories are described as bomb-making terrorists.

Alexander cites an intel advisory issued on Friday, April 23, 2010, that identifies terrorist threat adversaries as “Local Militia Groups / Anti-Government Protesters / TEA Party” (see image below). In short, the military was training in Kentucky to take on mythical militias — no word if they were of the FBI-created variety — and remarkably the non-violent Tea Party movement. “Anti-Government – Health Care Protesters have stated that they would join the TEA Party as a sign of solidarity” during a protest at Fort Knox. The Tea Party “groups are armed, have combative training and some are former Military Snipers. Some may have explosives training / experience,” according to the intel report.

Now I am not a big alex jones fan but when I said you can go anywhere and all you hear from the american people is how pissed off they are at the guv I was not bullshiting.

I am taking bets this will give some out here a hard on just fantasizing about wasting people who disagree with the guv.  :)

Realone, how about Teaparty members in the military?
They must have a bunch of them in there "undercover" by now, right?
Gee, you never know who's flying those "black helecopters!"

There is no doubt US government has detailed plans how to react in case of public uprising. The bad news is; the plans never work and, if it happens, things tend to go out of control pretty fast.

When did these examples happen?

Here we go again, Federal troops to be used on US soil to round up people for the FEMA camps.

When the final proof that these camps dont exist, never existed, and all this is paranoid delusions by a lunatic fringe will have the rest of us laughing our asses off.

This is a prime example of how the Federal government is not funding enough mental health aid.

1932 Washington DC. Veterans Bonus March. The U.S. Army lead by General Douglas McArthur, Major Dwight Eisenhower and Major George Patton burnt the protesters camp to the ground and killed one of their children.

Maybe the Army should be training for the immigration riots instead.

Riot breaks out in downtown Santa Cruz; windows broken on dozens of businesses, porch of cafe set on fire

SANTA CRUZ - A large group of protesters demonstrating at a May Day rally for worker's and immigrant rights downtown broke off into a riot vandalizing about a dozen businesses around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, police said.

Many in the group were carrying makeshift torches as they marched, breaking storefront windows and writing "anarchist graffiti" on buildings, according to Capt. Steve Clark. Many businesses sustained multiple broken windows including very large storefront windows at Urban Outfitters and The Rittenhouse building. Police believe at least 15 businesses suffered damage

Also, from the LA Times:

quote:

Marchers fill L.A.'s streets

...As at the earlier demonstration, the Wilshire march was peaceful, with something of a fiesta atmosphere, although afterward about 100 rowdy demonstrators faced off with police, some throwing bottles and breaking windows. Police arrested two males on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after an officer was hit in the chest.
Also in MacArthur Park, three men set fire to the corners of two plastic American flags using cigarette lighters and held them up to the crowd. After the flags were burned, someone threw an object at the men, hitting them.

Two arrest at a gathering of over a hundred thousand people....are you sure that the governor should not have brought in the national guard?

Not really: I've noticed that over the last couple of years all of the people who were wanking like a chimp whenever Bush and Cheney removed a few more of their civil liberties in order to fight the war on terror seem to have stopped arguing that the Government is a good thing and needs to be allowed to do whatever the hell it wants, and that the President effectively is America, and so beyond criticism.
Funny that. I've no idea why such zealously non partisan sorts should have changed their opinion like that all of a sudden.

You can find a few recent examples. In US last major disturbance, as I remember,  was in LA following Rodney King incident. Some trouble in WTO 1999 Seattle later.

thornhappy -> RE: U.S. Army Trains To Confront Tea Party ‘Terrorists’ (5/3/2010 6:02:33 PM)

The LA and Santa Cruz incidents sound like they involved a small core of anarchists that hate globalization and are very fond of taking out chain stores.  Evan Wright wrote about a group of them in Hella Nation ("Wingnut's Last Day On Earth", one of his Rolling Stone pieces).  This group was based in Eugene.  The story also covers the Seattle WTO protests.

BTW, the author's the same one who wrote Generation Kill, about his experiences as an embedded reporter with a Marine recon unit.

These anarchists and communists and wide open borders types all hail from the far left, and you know that if it had been a Tea Party protest such subtle distinctions wouldn't matter, they'd all be smeared with it and it would be blown out of proportion, too. We would never hear the end of it.

Remember the other thread where you were accused of playing the victim card?

First comes denial but eventually acceptance.

(if any shred of this is true ...)
They were terrorists 236 years ago. why not all over again.
Someone in the US Government ought to remember the currents of the first Tea Party and its social implications of some-kind of repeat of history.

Perhaps you might give us a quick thumbnail of that moment of history?

jlf1961 -> RE: U.S. Army Trains To Confront Tea Party ‘Terrorists’ (5/4/2010 4:21:09 PM)

I think there is a bigger danger from us smokers getting tired of being told where we can smoke.  Forget the tea partiers.

LadyEllen -> RE: U.S. Army Trains To Confront Tea Party ‘Terrorists’ (5/4/2010 4:43:23 PM)

I dont think there'd be much trouble from a party defending smokers' rights in the UK.

After all it would be a movement purely for fags.
