Lady E,  it is people like you who will be hung by your big toes during the nicotine riots.

then I could tickle her with feathers

Not likely - I will be rioting

But we can always arrange the tickling for after the revolution I guess

These anarchists and communists and wide open borders types all hail from the far left, and you know that if it had been a Tea Party protest such subtle distinctions wouldn't matter, they'd all be smeared with it and it would be blown out of proportion, too. We would never hear the end of it.

Little do people realize, especially those who consider themselves "americans" and less those who protect the status quo and  believe they are the true patriots, that what they have today that they call government is in fact technically "anarchy".

The unfortunate side to all that, is for me to take years of study and majically condense it into instant pudding such that the average ADD person out here can fathom it in a 3 second rag board thread would be equivalent to parting the waters of the pacific for a sunday stroll to japan.

However, if that is kept in mind while researching and simple observation of cause and effect, all these things that people think are so stoopid that the government does will immediately fall into place.  crystal clear.

I'm assuming your dancing alien was in regard to Lady E's smokers rights comments and reference to fags.

A fag is a slang term for a cigarette.

You've made a new friend Sanity.

Maybe the Army should be training for the immigration riots instead.

Riot breaks out in downtown Santa Cruz; windows broken on dozens of businesses, porch of cafe set on fire

SANTA CRUZ - A large group of protesters demonstrating at a May Day rally for worker's and immigrant rights downtown broke off into a riot vandalizing about a dozen businesses around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, police said.

Many in the group were carrying makeshift torches as they marched, breaking storefront windows and writing "anarchist graffiti" on buildings, according to Capt. Steve Clark. Many businesses sustained multiple broken windows including very large storefront windows at Urban Outfitters and The Rittenhouse building. Police believe at least 15 businesses suffered damage

Too bad California's laws are so....anti-victim. If a riot like that happened in Dallas, the headline would have a different focus. Something along the lines of "Many rioters shot by store owners who've had enough of their BS."

I think there is a bigger danger from us smokers getting tired of being told where we can smoke.

Not if you all die out from cancer.

I think there is a bigger danger from us smokers getting tired of being told where we can smoke.  Forget the tea partiers.

Not really. I do find it pretty funny that everybody who was protesting about the UK smoking ban was precisely the sort of person who normally shits blood at the thought of minorities receiving special entitlements, though. The pictures in a couple of papers of damp squib protests looked like group photos of Jeremy Clarkson...
