Hello everybody, Another update for those that are following my trials and tribulations. Yesterday while travelling to visit a 'friend' I was stopped by security at the local airport. I was pulled to one side and asked to surrender the contents of my bags. i was a very disheartended at the prospect of having my "tools" paraded on show for all to see. one officer asked what my dildo was for and having the attachment for my car battery made it an embaressing situation. one gentleman who was very good looking asked if i owned these and what was my intent. what had made matters worse was my porcealin jug had been smashed in travel in the taxi. having an item that holds almost 12 litres had landed me in a spot of bother. has anyone else had any incidents such as this happen to them and how did you pursue legal support? i have had to agree to have my "tools" siezed until further notice and i will have to pay to retrieve a family heirloom which is a particular farming instrument i am desperate to regain ownership of. is it simpy the fact that i was trying to cross the border with a bag of farming and DIY items rather than clothes that made me a suspicious target? We need more info Jim. Were you stopped in by Mexican security, US security or Central American security ? The laws probably differ country to country. In the US you can pack your toys and travel with them. I put mine in my checked baggage, not my carry on. But sex toys are illegal in Alabama and ownership of 6 or more dildos in Texas is illegal. I don't know how well enforced these laws are tho. If you were stopped in Mexico, I suggest you look up " travel restrictions " from your country's government website. I take it your anal surgery from the King Kong Dildo accident went swimmingly. Just a few days later and you are up and traveling about like a champ and whitening your anus. Most anal surgery performed here in the states requires a rest period and leaving your a-hole alone to heal. Since you refrence seeing a "friend " I am guessing you had some new fangled surgery that makes you good to go immediately. The miracles of modern medicine never ceases to amaze me.

Not to ask the obvious, but what the hell were you doing "carrying" a porcelain jar that holds 12 liters? In this day and age, trying to fly anywhere with even a full bottle of shampoo is a problem. And how do you get a 12 L jar in the luggage? Your trials and tribulations, as you call them, are getting funnier by the post. Keep it up, I need a good laugh and you're providing it.

Next time, look the agent straight in the eye and say "sex toys". But you need to research what is legal to bring into the country you were entering. And many people find it cheaper to leave stuff home and buy simple toys at the new place; after all rope, wooden spoons from a grocery store and rubber bands are all very effective and easy and cheap to buy and not bother to pack.

In Mexico, I have no idea. But I understand that there are many things that become "legal" in Mexico if the right palm is crossed with money. Dildos and sex toys are not entirely legal in several states in the US. They may be illegal to possess in quantity, or to sell. Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Georgia are often mentioned, but I have not looked up all of their laws. I believe that some other states may also have old laws on the books that are not enforced.

Jimmy, You didn't really give enough details of exactly where you were traveling and what type of farming instrument was confiscated. I have heard that as you get down closer towards the border that authorities are now using silicon sniffing canines to try and weed out the pervs. Was this how you got caught? Or was it just the customary bag search that is conducted before one boards? I am always pained when I hear of someone losing an important family heirloom. Far too often these items are irreplaceable. My mother had the ashes of my Uncle Franz confiscated when she was flying back from Istanbul. The authorities were confident that my Uncle Franz was heroin. They arrested my mother and she was detained in a Turkish Prison for the next 37 months. We never saw Uncle Franz again.
