Jesus was a wise man.

Why don't you know this?

How can you presume to know what a wise man would say if you are not wise?

I get into trouble with my biblical teachings. Paul might have been an opportunist. He never met Jesus, never really believed, wasn't to fond of the Jews or the Christians.

Maybe he was like Selena's business manager, was in it for the cash but was glad that his boss was dead.

I am not wise, nor am I a man. I'm just not convinced that Jesus intended everything that Paul has brought about.

See? And what if this has shaped all the shit from then to now and beyond? What then?

I think there is some pretty fair speculation that much of what is attributed to Paul may not be his words/writings at all.

Lots of contradictory writings. events, times, places and overall lack of consistency in his writing style.

OK I'll answer my own question. I think Jesus would say, "WTF? Dood, I never meant to be anything but a Jew and to teach people not to be assholes."

Paraphrasing....

Yeah, maybe. I never carefully read the letters he sent me.

You're teasing me. Rather relentlessly.

That should be a song.

I wish it had been real, though.

I am not sure what Jesus would have said.... but Frank?

This town is a lonely town
Not the only town like-a this town
This town is a make-you town
Or a break-you-town and bring-you-down town

This town is a quiet town
Or a riot town like this town
This town is a love-you town
And a shove-you-down and push-you-'round town
