Yeah yeah, you would clone Thomas or Scalia instead, we know - because as everyone knows, the Supreme Court ain't the Supreme Court unless it's populated with ultra conservative justices, right? Liberal or even middle-of-road legal minds aren't cut out for it, because... it should be all about family, faith and flag.

has no business being named to the SCOTUS. It is more BS from BHO

I really, really love this new phrase all the conservatives seem to be using.

Libtard.

Sort of reminds me of when I was in third grade and it is a definite reminder of the intellectual capacity of so many on the right.

Let's all go teabagging.

Libtard makes me think of leotard and by extension, of ballet. I just had a vision of LiveFreeAndWank in a tutu. Not pretty.

I was called a Libtard once by someone on this site. It was really quite rude. I was deeply offended.

You were only offended because you are a libtard.

You want to reduce this to spelling now?

Political insiders (and high court nominees are necessarily adept at playing politics) are not lining up to bite the hand that's feeding them.

I think jurists are more insulated from the Lobbyist system. Next, the set up of the Supreme Court is designed to keep jurists above and out of the fray.

The problem with the court today, as I see it -- is the ideological driving force of Scalia, Thomas, and Alito -- who would rather impose their judicial views on a case than try and help improve the country. These three live in their own world. Its been reported that Thomas hasn't asked a question during oral arguments for the past three years.
