Aneirin -> RE: Draw Mohammed Day is near (5/19/2010 5:11:52 PM)

At one time anyone who dared to trash the christian thing was dealt a severe blow, but now trashing that religion seems to be an ok thing and all that given freedom af thought and speech is now championed and that the religious authorites have thankfully lost their power, but although the following of Islam is a minority belief in a country and so lttle threat beyond the idealist nutcase, what is it with you guys, do you look for trouble ? Now I as a rule believe in live and let live, I live my life as I see fit without others intervention, fine, I will leave others to live their life as they see fit without intervention, it is that simple. Never will I feel the need to ridicule another's belief for the fun of it, or I feel the need to attack, as people's beliefs are their own to have. I may question in order to seek an answer for my own understanding, but out right ridicule, no, that is not me. It does bother me though, those without belief, why is it they seek to destroy what others believe in. If it is a change of belief that is desired, ridiculing what a person believes is not the way to go about it. But of those that call for a draw Mohammed day, that stinks of ridicule despite any other reason, for it will bring out those that have an axe to grind and as a result expose that country as an offensive country, of which people who are not connected may feel a person's wrath. The ridicule of religious beliefs should be outlawed, as it is not conducive to living with any modicum of tolerance to the combined divisions in society.
