ORIGINAL: tazzygirl Yet you used your own personal experience to trash. I do, because I believe I have a right to do so, having had this mutilation done without my consent and furthermore, the events that lead up to it by advice from a so called medical professional who just happens to have a family name from a sect that has believed in the circumcision of males from a very long time ago. Hence my reasoning that the procedure, or at least the procedure in my case had overtones of religious zeal attached, either that or said medical professional was not worth their qualification and status. Tazzygirl, with you I am coming rapidly to the conclusion you are not liking some of the comments made here, specifically from those that oppose your view on the procedure. I also understand the poster under the name of GotSteel had a very pertinent point when he deduced that you advocated the mutilation of your own child on the grounds of health when it is much of what is linked on here is from relatively present times, not twenty four years ago. In this case, I will be interested to read if you can come up with literature from before twenty four years ago that supports everything that you have linked to from the present time. If not, I can only deduce that you like so many others blindly followed what the medical professional advocated and believed what they told you, be it pseudo science or religious in intent.
