Cloudboy, that being the case we need to make it a felony to be in the country illegally on a local, state and federal level.

That would satisfy your hatred of mexicans but it would not solve the problem. Arresting the employers ,which is a felony, would dry up the employment and the illegals would go home.
Why is that so hard for you to understand?

Show me one post where it is said that employers should NOT be held responsible. In fact, i have stated they should be with both fines and jail terms. Your argument here has no standing.

Those links that you constantly provide to people whom you think have reading comprehension problems...you might avail yourself of them.
The post you quote was clearly sent to popeye not you.
Unless you are popeye in drag why would you accuse me of this?

Its a public forum. Anyone can respond. Or havent you realized that yet.

Of course you may respond to anything you wish.
When you respond to a post as if you were the one who was accused and you were not it just shows you cannot comprehend what you read.
Feel free to stuff both feet in your mouth at will...also be aware that I will point it out to you.

And the obvious, sensible answer is to end our nonsensical (according to not me but most if not all of the other nations on the planet) practice of birthright citizenship.

Perhaps you could contact your congressman/woman and see about getting the law changed...until then it is legal and you are going to have to live with just like all of the other laws you may not like or approve of.

But it is in keeping with the topic of the thread. Or have you forgotten what that is?

"Author of Arizona immigration law wants to end birthright citizenship"

For fucks sake learn to read.
I did not say it was off topic I pointed out how to change a law.
If you want to disagree with me try to find something with substance.

Cadenas, they don't need an amendment just clear up the language.

Simply change the law so that both parents must be in the U.S. legally to have any offspring become a citizen.
That's what they did in Ireland in 2006. Done.
Put it on the ballot in all 50 states and make it binding.
It's not "o.k." to sneak into any country illegally.
People need to understand that Mexico is not our "friend".

If you are not happy with my country and our laws why don't you move to ireland where you claim to have dual citizenship and you like their laws better than ours.

In that case, give the US back to the natives. This IS stolen land. All of it. Is this really an argument you wish to entertain?

The native americans whom I have spoken with would settle for the u.s. simply honoring the treaties that they signed.

When you attend tribal councils, when you are made privy to the inner thoughts of a tribal community, when you can actually ask more than a few friends... let me know. I will be fascinated to see if the councils and meetings you attend differ from my own.

Until such a time, dont speak for the native american community based upon the words of a few friends.

Do you feel that "my friends" denis banks, russel means or leonard peltier and AIM do not speak for a significant number of native americans?
Why do you feel that you, a fractional native american, who lives in white society in an apartment and not on the res know more than those who do.
No where have I offered any of my opinions as testimony only those of official spokesmen for AIM.

tazzygirl -> RE: Author of Arizona immigration law wants to end birthright citizenship (5/30/2010 5:42:39 PM)

And you are ASSUMING things not in evidence.

You claim to know these persons. you cannot prove you do.

you assume you know who i know. i dont use the names of those i call friends to try and score points in a debate.

i live in an apartment. do you happen to know where my family lives? where my tribe is located? Again, your assumptions are laughable.

What i have learned, i have learned at the feet of native americans who are older and wiser than us both. your assumptions that i am not accepted because i live in a "white society" is again laughable.

But i do thank you for the enjoyable laugh.

The numbers do not matter. Nor the fact that the children leave. That wasnt the point, but its all you decide to see. The point is that this has become a growing industry, trading US citizenship for big bucks to private industries.

It is legal, it does get your knickers in a twist, and it has absolutely no affect on you. But on you go with your hysteria.

This said by a man who has his balls in a twist because US citzens want a law changed to reflect citizenship to be something beyond where a baby is delivered.

Nope just pointing out the obvious falicies in your thought process.

The same man who is pissy about how the US stole land from Mexico,

To offer history lessons to the ignorant is hardly pissy

but has no compulsion to how the founding fathers stole land from the natives.

History time again ignorant one.
Please tell us which land the founding fathers stole.

And to further this part, i never said the natives wanted it back.

I did not say you did so why are you defending yourself against something I did not suggest or say?

My response was in direct response to you whining about how California and other states was stolen at gunpoint.

To point out historical fact to the ignorant is hardly whining.

Since those are your feelings, that it is wrong to steal, you should be advocating the return to the Indian nation, not bitching about what we did to Mexico.

I have not advocated returning anything. I have pointed out the truth with historcal data. If you cannot understand what I post perhaps you might want to get a reading tutor.

Many countries have gine up the option of birth rights. The US will soon follow.

That is your opinion. When your opinion becomes law please do let me know.

Now slip that into your crack pipe and smoke on it for a while. Or is it a bottle you hit that makes you so distorted? Doesnt matter. Your brain is turning to mush and most see your anger and bitterness. Lemme guess. Your part mexican, or someone in your family is. Makes sense to me if that is true. If not, then you really got issues.

Your bigoted ignorant comments give one and all a pretty clear picture of your agenda.

Someone told me i was fighting a losing battle trying to have a discourse with you.

You clearly were not smart enough to listen to good advice...or maybe you just like having your ass spanked publicly.

I still attempted. But like everyone else, im sick of having my posts twisted to suit your moods, which are extremely fleeting. You sit in your moodiness and argue with yourself. You have no clue of half of what you speak of. I made one simple mistake in reading. But to appologize to the likes of you? Hell will freeze over, thaw out, and refreeze before that ever happens.

One must ask the question:
Where does your ethical compass point if an apology for lying is dependent on who it is offered to rather than admitting ones own failings.

tazzygirl -> RE: Author of Arizona immigration law wants to end birthright citizenship (5/30/2010 5:52:08 PM)

you have already proven yourself an assuming fool in my book.

I have not assumed anything

You claim to know these persons. you cannot prove you do.

While I have met these people, I do not know them well enough to call them my friends thus the quotation marks around the term that you used to describe them.

you assume you know who i know. i dont use the names of those i call friends to try and score points in a debate.

I have assumed no such thing

i live in an apartment. do you happen to know where my family lives? where my tribe is located? Again, your assumptions are laughable.

I do not know nor do I care. It is none of my business. I have made no assumptions.

I would thank you should you ever acquire a history book. I would thank you even more should you actually learn how to read it.

And you the same in mine.

How much was the welfare mother receiving again? You could care less about actually reading the material you put forth as evidence or supporting your claims.

You think you are much smarter than you are.

No words were placed into your mouth. Your posts stands for itself in your assumptions of things not in evidence. You have no clue and really should stop while you are ahead.

I often admit there are things i do not know. Just like you cannot know everything. I also admitted i misread that part of the article.

Now, if that isnt being smart, so be it. I never made that assumption.
