Shut up! Camille is nice!

Why would you want to post this crap?

Our troops are sad that you've used them in this way.

Troops = :(

*kisses subtees cheek then whispers 'hellooooo' and slips her five bucks*

Actually it was out of character for me and I've felt badly since I hit the button.

OP you are correct. Spelling is not necessarily indicative of anything but a bad speller, I apologise for that unneccessary remark.

If the OP is able to pull her head out and unfuck herself, perhaps she'll tell you more about this.

That would be nice, as it's probably a good cause. That said, given her latest journal entry..... I doubt it.

To the OP- Hate to break it to you, sweetie, but riding up under a Marine doesn't make you one.
Jus sayin.

camille you're adorable and fantastic and probably one of the most sincere and nicest posters ever on cm....but really...do you honestly think the OP cares? She's attacking a mod...I think she's eating up the responses and begging for more.

tazzygirl -> RE: Does anyone know if we are allowed to post links to a donation site in our journal posts? (5/24/2010 11:12:29 PM)

Well, in my effort to be helpful, i contacted two of the three men she mentioned by cm mail with a link to this thread. Perhaps they dont care. Perhaps they do. Time will tell. At least they wont be able to say they were blindsided.

My late husband was a retired disabled veteran.  I do understand that the troops do not have everything they would like to make their duty as easy as possible.  It's a given when you enlist that there will be hardships to face.  Military troops are often involved in war type situations.  This makes the duty dangerous, uncomfortable, lonely, and scary.

I look at what the troops have now and what they had years ago and am amazed at how good they have over what my husband had.  They have internet which to me is a huge plus.  They can chat with family.  They can see their kids.  Email is quick.  We used to send a letter and expect it would take about 2 weeks to get there.  Then it would be about 2 weeks for us to get an answer.  When a decision needed to be made with the input of both spouses, that 4 weeks seemed like years.

Anyway, knowing that I do not have the information I need to know about offering financial assistance to military dogs, I think I'll go research it and discover what it is that they need that I could supply with a donation of money.

You're preaching to the choir, but I'm not talking about snivel gear.  I'm talking about basic necessities like primary weapon lubricant that actually works in theatre.

eibhlinauvert -> RE: Does anyone know if we are allowed to post links to a donation site in our journal posts? (5/25/2010 4:59:07 AM)

Hello, I would just like to address everybody who has posted in this thread. Firstly, I like to read threads sometimes, when  a topic sounds interesting to me, and i am more often than not disapppointed when it goes off topic and i cant gain the information i was hoping to acquire because the Collar Me clique has jumped all over and decided to berate, take the piss out of, or in my opinion, most of the time, bully the OP who isnt part of this circle. I recognise at least 50 % of the people on this thread from other threads and i really think you are out of order in your treatment of someone who came on to ask whether she had permisson to post a link for a charity. Her pictures have now become the subject. If her pictures were not suitable in the first place, I really dont see why the Collar Me website has not before now noticed and removed them. The onus whould not be on the profile holder in my opinion. Whats to stop someone posting absoloutely ANYTHING they want. I wont list examples, but there are plenty of things a lot more shocking than a picture of someones twat for you all to get so hett up over. For Gods sake people. Chill out. Its only a womans body, a very nice one at that, i am sure it is not going to irreversably psychologically disturb you. I really question the ethos of this site sometimes. is it not bdsm orientated? is that not linked to sexuality? really, get over yourselves. have a group meeting and decide maybe to be nice to people next month, just for a change eh? might not even hurt. and if someone posts a thread you find tedious, ignoring it is probably alot more effective than giving it five pages of attention.

xxblushesxx -> RE: Does anyone know if we are allowed to post links to a donation site in our journal posts? (5/25/2010 5:32:24 AM)

No Eib, the onus is on the user to know the most basic of rules in a site (s)he participates in.

Yes, there was some cattiness, and some of it could have been prevented. However the OP (who is not new btw) has a history of rude and insulting posts. Sometimes you get out what you put in.

sirsholly -> RE: Does anyone know if we are allowed to post links to a donation site in our journal posts? (5/25/2010 6:04:55 AM)

Hmmm. Damn shame you feel that way.

Problem is, the OP should have shut off her fingers and covered her twat when the moderator asked her to do so. If the OP didn't want the comments from those standing behind our beloved VAA, she should have shut up.

If you have an issue with the comments of the "collarme clique" might I suggest you stop reading and complain to the head admin (who just happens to be our beloved VAA)

peppermint -> RE: Does anyone know if we are allowed to post links to a donation site in our journal posts? (5/25/2010 6:30:46 AM)

Now eibhlinauvert, remember the OP herself lost tract of her own thread and the needy dogs overseas were completely forgotten as she insulted VAA and others.  She seems to have greater concern for what picture she can post rather than the pooches that need our help.

By the way, I did research and discovered the dogs need goggles to protect eyes from sandstorms.  They also need boots to protect their paws from hot sand.  I would have thought that Uncle Sam would provide that protection, however, apparently not.

She could have very easily made a thread discussing the condition of the dogs.  She could have then said that there are groups that are helping the dogs.  Then it would have been easy for anyone who is so inclined to google those groups and make the needed donation.

But no, the thread became a tirade against VAA and the OP's right to show between her legs to the world. TOS be damned.

eibhlinauvert -> RE: Does anyone know if we are allowed to post links to a donation site in our journal posts? (5/25/2010 7:00:54 AM)

I have stopped reading most threads on this website for the reasons I have already stated.   You really have no idea how many times i have thought a thread title sounded interesting and I've decided to read and then give up when you lot all jump on the OP for whatever reason. It really is tiresome. This website should be called "mean girls".  I am sure I am not alone in thinking this, but im sure most people dont feel like standing up to an army. I will not waste my breath by complaining to the head bully, Video Admin Alpha, or whatever you clones are calling him/her.  I would purport this to be a futile action.  I have found another website where tolerance is practised and will spend my time there. I am sure I am not alone in doing this either. I just felt today I had to say something about this particular thread, I really was astounded at some of the comments. I think the administrator is displaying an attitude that is causing a trickle effect on all of you. so it is no wonder the atmosphere turned so violent so quickly. it seems it is encouraged.

Jeffff -> RE: Does anyone know if we are allowed to post links to a donation site in our journal posts? (5/25/2010 7:26:53 AM)

Not everyone is for everyone.

Not everyplace is for everyone.

You seem to be laboring under the impression that we are all in this here thing together.

You would be wrong in that.

It might interest you that i heard back from one of the men support mentioned. He had no knowledge of her using him as a "reference" nor did he give her permission to do so.

Support was asked to follow the rules. she argued. the resulting posts were those of support tossing a temper tantrum and using others without their permission to prove she is something more than what she truly is.

Now, if you have problems with this, then perhaps another site is better for you. I have learned, at least on this site, bullshit isnt tolerated for long.

Jeff, I would have thought, other than having an interest in BDSM, this website should be open to everyone who wishes to join it. I would have thought it would portray and inclusive attitude. It doesn't.
