Say for example it was against the law where i lived to sport an overgrown mullet. Say for example one day Sirsholly came to me and asked me how to go about raising funds for charity. Now, instead of pointing her in the right direction, I overreact and start running around like the vikings had arrived to pillage my village; I tell her to remove herself from my sight as i cannot take her seriously while she looks like that, not to mention, its against the law! The village leader gets involved and chastises her too, tellling her the nineteen-eighties have called and want their hairdo back. The rest of the villagers find this hilarious and all join and finger point, and agree how very DARE she roll on up on her motorcycle looking like that. sirsholly leaves not knowing anybetter how to solve the initial problem and now has a complex about her appearance. Now, this is a hypothetical. Let me remind you. I would not do this. Was Holly also flashing her bits to all and sundry? If so, yes, I would say something. Your choice of analogies and the fact that you have at least twice now made 'it's no big deal' posts tells me that you do not understand that the rule is there for a reason. Legalities and such aside, many members here access the boards on lunch and breaks, often either while at work, school, or out in public. Others access them from home, where there may be short people underfoot. For those members, avatars showing penii and or pussies are a big deal. OPs who post threads with nude pics are usually asked by other members to please put a warning in the thread title for just this reason. As to the meat of your analogy, LNT's was much more accurate. Would you defend the person who showed up to a vanilla munch in fetish gear and started arguing and throwing insults when told that hir outfit was inappropriate? Now, it has already been mentioned numerous times that the OP is both not new here, and that she has a history of making insulting posts to other members. The fact of the matter is that you do not become a new poster with each new thread, and people here do remember what you have posted in the past. New people often see a thread like this and jump to defend the person being "bullied" without taking the time to read previous posts made by the 'victim'. It is a fact that people get out of this site what they put in, which ties back in with LNT's posts about social Darwinism. Speaking of past posts, I happened on this little gem from the OP, posted Oct 27th, 2009: quote:
[snip]As for my white spot the rules stated that the main photo was not to be dirty so I blocked that out. I had 14 photos up all without white outs but then someone told me men copy them and use them to pose as women. I then took them all down.[snip] The OP was perfectly aware of the rules about posting main pics, she just chose to ignore them. quote:
and for those of you so concerned about the rules on this site, leave it to admin to govern i would say, thats what theyre there for isnt it? or at least thats what i would have thought. a whole bunch of you jumping on someone like you did as i have said before is out of order. You mean, the way you did? Oh wait, your second post in this thread was an attack on the admin, now wasn't it? Bit of 'do as I say, not as I do' there. As LAT pointed out, what is or is not 'out of order' here isn't up to you.
