Aye S&M, and all the more reason to help those whose family members are attempting forced intervention and removing that other member's right to decide how he or she lives their life as long as it generally not against the law. remember that mental Health persons tend to make judgements based on their experience including their concept of morality which usually is against kink. This is why BDSMers need to have a network of kink friendly professionals so you don't start with the deck stacked against you.
Here and in the cases I referred to, I am not looking at education those other family members nor the "professional team" but rather to look at helping the victim beat those who would in one form or another imprison him or her and not allow the freedom to choose to which can be added when there are personality issues manifesting, to handle or refer to other kink friendly professionals which can then remove the obvious legal case for the family to take legal action. Others better equioped can take on the education though as the Bible comments "You can't make silk purses out of a sow's ears.
