Ok, the thread seems to have become a tangled, downright felted, morass. That said, I fully agree with the title of the original post, from both a physiological and psychological perspective. In regards the "Notice", it DOES seem moderately paranoid, not to mention demonstrative of a gross misunderstanding of both the nature of surveys, and of sites on the web. NO legitimate survey is going to base it's data-collection on such specious and unsubstantiatable claims and statements as those made here. Secondly, all that hogwash about legal recourse ignores the fact that ANYTHING you post ANYWHERE on the web may as well be posted on a roadside billboard, you surrendered any expectation of privacy when you posted your information, ESPECIALLY if you post a picture. If a survey DID post it's findings, no identifiable information would be attached to the data in any case, ie "98% of dominatrixes indicated they engaged in strapon use" so, you'd never be able to prove that YOUR information was included in the survey, and that damages were caused. Time for a high colonic reality-check, folks. William
