Thank you for providing the article. I'm sad to say it, but it is probably the right decision. I'm not sure if it will be enough, but it's better than what's happening now.

Obama's major modus operandi is symbolism. Whatever he does we do not see any decisive actions to deal with the the problems. I am wondering why? Is it because US president does not have real power any more? The presidents from "good old days" were able to undertake decisive actions.

I love it that they are sending the troops to help secure our borders. We have a long history of doing that. Nothing new. Well maybe. We don't have a cavalry on horseback now and the infantry doesn't walk ALL the time now. lol And with ICE not going to necessarily enforce our immigration laws (http://www.azcentral.com/news/articles/2010/05/19/20100519arizona-immigration-law-ICE-chief-opposes.html) then what the heck, someone has to do the job and it has been left up to AZ and the Department of Defense.

This is one of the things our govt. is charged with doing and they've been failing at it for the last thirty years!
