My question is very simple....Why is it that males on here often are looked upon as PLAYERS and the Females get Played? I find many females are extreme players and won't even respond to messeges even with a polite "no thank you"

Depends how you define players. Most men don't want commitment, so they just play the bdsm game, get what they want & move on or come back again when it suits them. I call them roaming Johns or Trolls. People that don't respond to msges are just rude, doesn't hurt to 'say no thanks'

Some time there just isn't anything to say to some people as their message is just " can I have sex with you " ....................... I for one would ignore any message that even hinted of that . Surely, there are only 'players' if you allow yourself to be 'played'. I've never met anyone off here and allowed them to 'play me'. I am aware that there are alot of liars about, but I think they can be found out by asking certain questions. I find that if you get a home telephone number, works number etc and then tell then what a psycho you turn into when you are scorned, it keeps them in check lol

Too many wannabes. The best way of not being found out is not answering. Those that do answer or at least make an approach want everything and your soul, well my soul isn't up for grabs. Prima donnas I can do without, I'm happy to let everyone else play.

Players? No responses? Truth is that there are many people on here who are horny and act as if they are real. They are simply following their hormones or whatever, I can't blame them. It is annoying, though. Other people have certain ideas about the scene and only act if they "feel" the good vibes, according to their own preference. Anything else will probably be a troll or HNG (horny net guy/gal) Of course, many a message can be stupid, short or simply not interesting at all. The best defense is to ignore these messages and that's why not many people will respond anyway. I, too, have experienced this because some of my messages were silly as well. I have learned to live with ignorance and I do keep a list of people that didn't reply or turn out to be a dead end. Other than that, simply endure human nature in all it's diversity and focus on the 'okay' people. I know I do.[;)]

There are players on both sides of the fence, but just because they don't respond to a message does not necessarily mean they are a player. Sure, if I write a message or a comment about something in a profile I anticipate an answer, but I don't automatically write them off as an evil ogre if they don't respond. I just figure they either aren't interested, perhaps rude, maybe afraid if they start writing they might like me and that could be scary (weg), or too busy and have a hundred other messages to answer. Of course I am sure a percentage of them are just here for the entertainment and I have met a few of those types..luckily, at some point that becomes evident but it takes a while and a bit of work to figure that out sometimes. If it only so easy to figure out the players as the ones who don't respond...I regret that they are the ones who might most likely repond, that's the frightening part.

what response do you give to an email that says 'oh yes, but no sex when you cum over' that was it, nothing else to the message. There is no response to that.

tossing submissives at the feet of another new poster..... as simple as your question my appear...the answer is as complex as the intent of the question.... begin at the profile...how many really take the time to read one before responding to the person....ack...usually that's mistake number one....knowing what they have to express about themselves and their needs... then take the number of women to men.... one female can and usually produce a bizillion responses from the men...and if what they project as content in those responses....is it any wonder why if you're someone with real intensions...you may fall through the cracks....they just get fed up and tired of all the BS... then there's that PLAYER label....how do you get around this Mt Everest of all mountains......I'll just give my humble opinion and let it go at that..... many who've been in this lifestyle or are new seeking knowledge come to these boards and let their thoughts and dreams and questions be known.....if you come to the boards and look...listen...learn...observe those who post....you may very well find...within these walls of the CM site is that rare jewel you've been looking to find....and if not...what's the worst that can happen...you gain knowledge and maybe just maybe...get a contact through which you can expand your search and find something meaningful to you.... just a thought on this....you may find it tomorrow..or you may never find it...but have you lost or gained from how you go about that with which you do... this players all played out now so I'm gonna go listen to some music... We come on here searching but never meet. Guess I was off in my other little world for awhile there and things changed while I was gone.. LOL Keep chin up and don't be discouraged.

I have a journal entry that says if you are far from me (b/c I want r/t), rude (doesn't deserve a response), or I have no interest (b/c I may not have interest) you may not get a response. Being a woman, I do get a lot of inquiries at times (feast or famine). I don't always have the time to respond but if someone is 'geniune' in their email and I have no interest, I ALWAYS respond to that person, just common curtesy in my book. If they are far and I see in their profile that distance is not a problem and they are geniune, I also will respond to them. If your plain rude...to be quite blunt, no response is even warranted or deserved!

I got the exact same email the other day. I didn't respond either since it was rather obvious he hadn't taken any time to read my profile. Both my DVD and VHS players are Phillips, there might be better ones out there, but I have had pretty good luck with them, I never thought of them as sexual tho, give me a minute................. Nah, Ron

Someone else said it earlier, but I agree with the opinion that it depends on what you define a player as? We all get played from time to time, that's life. You learn and move on. I do wish I had someone to play with me now...player or not[;)]
